Saturday (04/02/2011):

Another filler episode....

The new family settles in..

No Maaneet moments only in FB....

Geet is seated alone in thoughts and hears the MSK picture dropping on the floor ... broken glass... She sees that & her heart cries for him. Once again she caresses his picture but now on a broken glass.. She is so deep in her thoughts and longing for him that she cuts herself and winces with pain with drop of blood in her finger tips.. Her heart is bleeding to and hugs his picture.

A shout from Beeji and she runs down with all other family members arriving in the hall. Tej Veerji is there too in his true Veerji posture..... Beeji tells her that Tej has been from Delhi and now knows the true reasons of her wondering around alone in Amritsar. Geet has no answer just tears of hurt. Tej Veerji tells her that he knows that Maan said mean stuff to her and that is why she left the house. So now she does not need to go back and she will stay with them.. He also adds that if Maan comes here they would push him out of the house.... Geet was not able to say anything but more tears..

Now when Tej veerji told Geet that he has been to Delhi he forgot to mention that Maan was not there but he is out there in Amritsar looking for her. So for Geet she does not know that Maan is looking for her since the day she left the house. But she heard that message from him on the radio' now I am not sure about why they choose to put that radio incident there or it has some significant later on but for now it has been just wave aside as a one time incident...

Anyways so as Geet's Veerji Tej is furious at Maan bhai because he dared to make his sister cry like that and because he said so mean things to her that Geet was forced to leave him. He told Geet that it is now decided that she will live with them and she does not need to go back to her sasural and if Maan Bhai comes there he would not be welcome.

Well here Tej is only as a protective brother who is standing for the honor and respect of his sister. And those attributes weigh more in that area from where Tej family lives. and he feels that the way a kind-hearted girl like Geet was forced to leave her home and no one stopped her and let her walk out in this wild world without any support was too disturbing and insulting to him. As he also does not know the details that all tried to stop her but she walked out as the person who mattered the most did not come....

More over his anger at Maan is justified cause he thinks that Maan said some cruel and insulting things to his sister that Geet had to leave house. So now he is all against Maan and his approaches. Without knowing his identity he already has interacted with Maan and he did not like his attitude to balance everything on money. He already has registered Maan's tough of arrogance.... which is actually Maan's way of thank you but a person like Tej would think it as an insult.

Right now Geet is too hurt and this family stood for her and wanted to fight her battle was a knew thing for her as no one did at HP.... Yes Maan always did that for her but right now all those incidents just brings tears and pain to her as she just cannot pass the point that how could her Maan who loved her to death could say such things to her. How could her Maan sees her with those views.. The more she thinks the more she feels down and fresh tears stars rolling down her eyes.. In her hurt she is not getting pass the fact of "how could you Maan" In that she remembers his love and his beutiful words and all those brings more conviction in her heart that a person who said those wonderful things and than spoke to so angrily with such a dislike and that only means now I have no value in his eyes.... I am worthless and respect-less in his eyes and I would rather not go in front of him as she would not be able to bare that anger and dislike and detest in his eyes toward her. His angry eyes and detest in his eyes just killed her and she just could not bare a single second with the thought that her Maan was actually disgusted with her and that he separated himself from her. She is totally broken even with the thought that her Maan thinks of her so low.. and that hurt in her is killing her and thinking about him brings more tears and she gets deeper and deeper in her misery. She just lost the jest and joy of her life and now is being just a lifeless doll being protected by her family.. Now she just allows them to fight her battle because nothing matters to her much.... and her family sees her sinking deeper and deeper and are getting outrageous at Maan for making their sister feel like that.

Now at home.. Pammi a sweet sister in law with her constant blabbering is trying to cheer Geet up. Geet sees her efforts and appreciates it. So half heartedly she agrees and for the sake of family she tries to cheer herself up but when she is alone and lonely she misses him and the time spend in his arms and his loving memory brings fresh tears and her hurt surfaces back....

Now Maan who really feels the her pain and understands her walking out lifeless is in severe agony and pain because it was him who inflicted that pain upon her and he alone knows the fact that how deep it is unless she would not walk out on him. Now he wants to go to any length to erase the memory of those words and that pain and shower her with his love in such abundance that every hurt and every word of humiliation may wash out from her memory.... but ufff there is no news of his Geet.... The more he tries to get hold of her the more she drifts away and he just too desperate to connect to her. He is too desperate to lay his eyes on her. He is too desperate to tell her how sorry he is.. But she in no where in the sight..

Finally he gets the news of her and knows about the back ground of the people with whom she is staying. He also comes to know that they are her relatives and physically she is fine and well protected. So one worry is out of his mind that she is not shelter-less or on the road wandering here and there. But he knows her heart, He knows that what she must be feeling when she walked away from him.. he knows that she existed on his love and his belief in her. And he pulled that rug from under her feet and she is now totally broken and helpless and almost lifeless.. Oh he knows how hard he will have to work to bring her back to life and to him. He is ready to go to any length to bring her back to him so that the life may come back to him too.... Right now he is in sheer torment as he knows that he is the reason life went out of Geet and she drifted like a log in the river lifeless & aimless. Yes Maan Singh Khurana knows very well that what his words did to her and he is now running after his own life as his life is also lifeless without his life..

So now the story is at the point that MSK is not welcome in TejVeerji's house. Geet has no life in him to feel anything right now so she just lets them handle the situation....

So Maan is going to have tough time crossing all these honor bound barriers and the hurt wall around Geet's heart. And his way of handling the situation is not going to help him at all... So he will not have to try but he will have to change his attitude and look on the life. May be then she will come to life and when she will see that it is her Maan who is going through this nonsense just for her and then may be the life will start spring out again in her and we may get our Maaneet back....

Thanks for the update where the family where she needs love and care for them was not.
but it is always saved Maan
where was this family when she was in a strange town where she did not know.
Where were these brothers when she wanted to kill her then why are they not protected.

I am not sure where was this family but I could say that when Geet was at HP she was with her Dad's family and this is her Mom's family so tradtionally they would not speak any thing in matter of Handa family where Darjee was presiding as the head of the family.

We all know that this family is added only to take the story to a different level...

So whereabouts of this family is paraticularly unknown at the time of Geet's running away from Handa family as if she was running away like that in supposed to be "disgrace" condition and being unwedded mother no one would give her suppport against the Handa family... So I think at that point of time only a man like Maan only could stand agaist the tyranny of rural tradtions..

But now she has walked out of Maan's house and landed in Amritsar this family has come to her aid firmly believing in standing behind your daughter...

Thank you so much, Eva! I am replying late today, na? Because all things are crazy here at home! Baby is not well, and men are cricket-mad...they are having lot of fun! People outside shouting jheet gayi today - it was very happy around here! So that was nice. But I was so happy myself to get quiet moment to look for your saturday thoughts.

I had been thinking when I read your lovely update that the show has come to a different kind of place than it was being in before. Because now every character is a little bit right, whereas before there was always someone who was ekdum wrong, like Brij or Dev or NT or Rasika Rathore (or even Arjun, for while). But now everybody has a POV that has some truth to it. Geet is hurt in her pride., with true reason. Maan is upset with the injustice that was done to her, with true reason, and that's what made him shout out the way he did. Tejveerji is upset with Maan for pushing Geet away, with true reason. It's not a like there's a true villain, just lot of good people who don't see complete picture.

I wonder if they will do something like DDLJ track where Tej is going to want to see Maan really prove his worthfulness before he would let Geet go to him. But how could anyone really keep a man from his wife? And Geet is clearly needing Maan...he is the only one who cold ever put her back on the path of love and happiness in life, he has done it over and over. I hope she would never forget all the times he has known exactly what to do and has done only good for her to save her over and over.

Well, I can't believe we have already been a whole week through this painful separation and it looks like it will be a while longer. It is too hard to bear, but I hope it will soon be put right. I didn't think I could bear it for even a week...two weeks will seem like forever! How long do you think they would pull the track along? I hope it would not be like some serials where it takes weeks and weeks to resolve MUs. I think I will have heart attack!

Well I am ashamed to write so much so badly! Your writing is very very beautiful Eva so I hope you will forgive my try at expressing my thoughts! Thanks so much!

thank you Eva....U are right..this is her mother's family and being traditional Punjabis and Indians they would not interfere in her mother's life...so we can understand that part...also they have tried to clarify certain minute details....like Tej saying to Dadi how much Geet went thru in HP...so lets assume they know bits and pieces of what happened in her life.....

Also I fail to understand why we can't take this in the true spirit of entertainment....we must remind ourselves that this is a fiction show and anything can happen in it...at least these CVs are trying to bring credibility to the track....as for it being a filler episode it obviously had to be one....considering the whole of India and Indians all over the world would have been glued to the tv watching the WC final yesterday.....under these circumstances who (except a fool like me) would watch the show?

So all I want to say is lets sit back and enjoy whats coming and hope whats coming will be interesting.....instead of going into the whys and wherefores of the show.....this is fiction and fiction cannot be logically analysed....logic is always left behind when such shows are made.....so we should not upset ourselves by thinking logically.....at this moment we will bask in the aftermath of the glory of being "world champions" for the next four years......

@ Bhakti.. I love your points when you said that at this juction of the story all the characters are great means they are all right in their own mind..

Geet is hurt because it was her own Maan who separated himself from her

Maan was angry because he did not trust Dev and thought Geet has come under his influence and thus betray him

Tej Veerji wants to protect his sister from a person who is hurting her emotinally

So yes you are right all have valied reason for their present situation but those valied reasons clashe with each other and thus is going to be a circus for a while in which Maaneet will suffer.

I am not sure how long this separation would be but I do hope that they will not take it too long..

Yes If they take the track in such a way that Tej Veerji would want Maan to prove that he would never hurt his sister then I do not mind. Geet never had that protective love from her famly. Her father loved her a lot but he could not stand in front of his father and Brij's injustice for her daughter.

I think now as Geet feel dead inside means her feelings for Maan is hidden in her hurt and it has to surface once hurt is heal.. and that only Maan can do..

But I also know that CVs knows that Geet runs on the chemistry of Maaneet and if they do not show Maaneet together people would loose interest so on that note I think Maaneet will meet but I think there will be different kind of Maaneet moments and now as they are husband and wife, I think Maan will try to placate and heal Geet but initially she would not want to but his constant persuation will bring her to him...

We have to see how CVs do this but uptil now they did a pretty good job and I do hope that they will do good job moving forward too..
