Nags😛,
I loved the content though. The dialogues were fabulous. Though I think I havent got the right understanding of the dialogue of Maan. I felt very touched by all three of them too. Dev learnt that repentance does not come easy. Geet learnt that nothing should be kept from Maan from bang on as quickly as it is said or acted and never to be impulsive, and Maan was terrific with his anger. But needs to learn anger management😕 !!

Maan told get that she has no self repest....
and i back him up...because the moment she allowed the man that ruined her izzat to touch her with colors....oh so happily and doin the same in return.....took away her self respect right there and then.......
so what maan said was right...only someone with no self respect can smile and play holi with a man hat ruined her izzat/life in front of the world...leavin her to rot.

Am i the only that is happy for this separation? Even though i feel it is pretty stupid of Geet to leave him for just sayin what is the truth.
Only a girl with no self respect would allow the man that ruined her life to apply colors on her face. Forgiveness fine, even though i didn't like it...but for the reason Geet gave i went with her....but here applyin colors on Dev and him doin the same was disgusting.....
and the lines that Maan uttered today were totally right.

Shivi...you know that If I were Geet....I could not forgive Dev. I can empathize with her wish to move on with her life...find total happiness with Maan in her marriage.

The circumstances are very unfortunate. Dev is living in the same house as them...thanks to daadi...and circumstances like today will arise. I mean the setting was very public, everyone was there, Dev put color on Anna and Daadi..and turned towards her in all innocence....i don't think he realized that it was Geet there...she didin't want to make a big issue of it....so she just let him color her.......even this would have sufficed......

What I feel strongly about is that she should not have put color (TILAK) on him...that is totally wrong!!!

But she may have put tilak on him as a sober means to reciprocate the holi gesture....and that is all. She has forgiven him...so in her naive and bubbly mind, she did not think it was a bug deal.

I don't know what else to think.

I too feel that Maan was absolutely right in what he said, and what he felt. It was tough for Geet...but true from many persepctives.

OK, Mishti 😛
Just one question! And dont you ruin me as u did that day by kicking me by nattering abt PKEK.😆
I agree to all that you say. But you cant consider the entire world your enemy when Dev honestly repented! I also agree that this very sacred act of tikka and colors are first offered to husband and wife (after the pooja). Isnt self respect a measure created by oneself?? If she has fully thrown away her past, and dictated a new life in her, and she wholly and totally is surrendered to loving Maan and Maan only then where is the self-respect lost??? Daadi is khandan and did not stop her!
Easy on me girl😊

😛Allo Mishti mystury, MK, Lavz, Muniza, Nags,

Can you explain what exactly Maan said to Dev about Geet in the kitchen???
Just as much as I felt sad for Maan yesterday, I feel tears for Geet today.

Al Dev said...if Geet can forgive me...why can't you?

Maan said...because in his veins runs the Khurana Khoon (blood) which is full of Ghairat - IZZAT, honor and pride...and as such he could never forgive what Dev has done. He said that if Geet's is missing this Ghairat...izzat, then it is not his problem. This was a HUGE insult to Geet!! He also said, that Geet's khoon must be white....that is why she can easily forget all that Dev has done to her....but he can never forget ...or forgive!!

@Al- because dadi herself has lost her self respect as a woman the moment she forced Maan to let Dev live in the outhouse...u cannot go by what that woman thinks...
and what sacred tikka? for what? givin respect to the man that raped u....that did all wrongs to u....by puttin that tikka on him....is a disrespect to all tikkas.

Halwa,

See this is what's so frustrating right now. I'm just trying to remember everything Geet has said .. her whole transformation after the MC and the way she contemplated within herself the change she was about to bring. The happiness that she now wanted with Maan and only her Maan and the way she wanted to forget her past every happened and move on with what she has now. She wants to push everything aside ..
And Maan on the other hand clearly stated today that he being a Khurnana would never be able to forgive because he has his self respect. Sure Geet should have told him everything right from the get- go and that is something she learned today as well. Never hide anything from him..
So in a sense she didn't totally lose her self respect .. Maan felt like it because what he has seen and heard .. is what has compelled him to come to this conclusion.
I honestly believe showing Maan angry at just the forgiveness would've been ok. Allowing Geet to be too familiar with Dev is a last minute decision of the channel .. and I fail to believe it was needed to fuel Maan's anger.
But what's done is done. And now these two will have to learn from their mistakes.
