here's my take for today..
I hate women, said he, oh so clearly,I hate weak people who take whatever is dealt out to them..
not knowing, that she had torn those cards;
unknowing that she had started her struggle so early
A whirling whirlpool of uncontrollable feeling,
reigns of passion barely in control,
streams of anger, oceans of love,
and yet..none as strong as this heady rush
I have to stay away,said he,
it was easier said and done though
Followed her around, every step of the way
and yet, he wondered how she could not see?
But she did see, and she felt it too
that heady rush,that passion,that love
and yet she stayed back, tied by her past,
the responsibility to fulfill, towards the one she loved
But Destiny had something else in mind,
true love such as this, cannot remain unbound,
binding them together with an invisible divine string forever,
SHE got them married, a more beautiful couple none could find
But HE came back, the root of all evil
the one that caused her pain, the one that bound their lives forever
a pawn of destiny,nothing else he seemed to be,
work done, he strives to be civil
She cut all strings, but destiny cut them before
no more connected with him through any connection of the past, it seems
she decided to forgive, not forget..
how does it help to keep bitterness and poison and cause heart sores
For him, he remains an eye sore,
he struggles to understand, and yet feels confounded
how could she forget? how could she forgive?
Not talking, he'll jump to conclusions,
not listening, he will hurt her ever more
At a time when they had to stick together,
the evil pawn came between them,
to err is human, and they will rewind
back to those days when feelings were revealed never
fighting in passionate love and anger,
loving in passionate fight and betrayal
and yet bound, by destiny, by each other
yet they'll come back..to be reunited for forever
I miss maneet so so much..it's going to be tough going,I'm sure for a few weeks, as maan and geet struggle to understand each other.
Maan's anger and rigidity against Geet's flexibility.
I wish to bring up all my symbolisms about their characters, to present a diff POV..there are different ways to look at things, and that is what I will do..because, I want to get back into the fictional nature of their characters now. And also to point out how realistic the problem is.
1. Fire and Ice
Maan has been compared to fire a lot of times..well he's so angry for one. His anger, that's usually destructive, self destructive more than anything else and so much more dangerous.
Geet has been like the cool ice, who has brought coolness in his dry life.
She has brought life into his dreary deserted life and he is grateful for that. Always has been haha..
Rain denoted the opening up of his heart, and his feelings became much more difficult to suppress. But, he has been extremely rigid in his views.
Like ICE, he is also very hard. He is not warm like the fire that's lighted on the hearth- at least not to people he doesn't like.
When he realized it was his brother who took away the sunshine of his life, who took away his Geet; who was the one who caused the eclipse in her life for the first time- he removed even traces of him from the house- from his life.
He now finds it back into his house..and he's confounded as to why Geet is all sunshine-y to Dev.
Geet is like the river..life-force if you will.
She recently lost the reason for her struggle and she just became stagnant.
Maan told her to move on..he told her that she, like Life, cannot stand at one place.
Like the bubbling river, she finally decided to keep the good and move away from the bad.
and she did. She kept the good memories of the baby; and wants to cut off from the past so she can move forward in her life with Maan..
A new beginning, like Maan wants, and like she also wants.
A new beginning, where she doesn't have to make him choose between his family; where she doesn't have to be tied down by remembrance of things she'd rather forget.
She didn't tell Maan...which was wrong..his problem is she didn't tell him. He needs to understand, but he needs to listen for that.
Miscommunication between fire and ice- miscommunication that can be solved once they both realize that they need to balance each other...and how to communicate- to talk as well as listen.
To not jump to conclusions; to become flexible; to share and for that- they need to remain separate..for a bit..
and then...there will be a reunion to remember...consummation of love, passion, fire, ice, understanding - a cooling of fire and a melting of ice...no shadows...a space between them- filled with the light of understanding...2 weeks..hopefully not more..but this is what i feel...i wish..haha..i hope..
Geet and Dev had their first contact- as Maan's wife and maan's brother.. they got over the awkward moment maan will torture himself over..
AA got together haan?
Good for them- the silent mode dhol and the background of sajnaa was not in good taste- we'd rather hear the dhol than the sajnaa..hahaha
but oh well..
I liked the butterfly of course! and my romeo is always good!

I liked all the colours today!! really!
it was no surprise that maan is scared of holi...he never liked colours na? but if dev wasn't there- he'd have loved to be the one to put colours on Geet's cheeks..
Like he did in the private haldi ceremony...
