@Opti, Sigma, I agree with what you say about Maan making unilateral decisions and that he has a hard time forgiving people who have gone against his principles. No question there. And, yes agree that Geet has been a live in the moment spontaneous person. But my point is that this is a very important decision in their lives and not a knee jerk reaction. Dev does not deserve an answer from Geet right away as he does not mean anything to her - there was no need for Geet to respond to him at all. She could have just walked out of there and taken Maan into confidence before declaring forgiveness to Dev.

And, to date have we seen Maan refusing Geet anything? The question of him saying "No" to her does not even arise. He amy have been shocked, confused initially but would have tried to understand her eventually. Now, the difference in their opinion in this matter is visible to everybody - there was no need of it.

The fault was of Dadi to let Dev in the house, for which Maan/Geet both are suffering.

Are we always deserving of what we get? Don't we ask God's forgiveness for our sins? What did we do to deserve that forgiveness? Yes, Maan stood for principles and morals and sent Dev to jail but did he do his best to keep him there? That guy was out thanks to his ex-wife and MSK apparently is helpless.

It is good that Dadi let Dev into the house. Gold gets purified when it goes into the fire. This is the fire and Maaneet are going into it. When they come out, their relationship would become that much more stronger. So far they have managed to shelve out Dev who was in important part of their past (for all the wrong reasons) . Now they are being forced to face him head on. By facing him and overcoming him, they will become much stronger couple whom nothing can shake( except maybe Sam, since the guy who is highly principled and moral, who believes that one has to be honest and straightforward has still not confided about her to his better half even after all thse months of knowing her).

She wanted to break free from her past asap so that she can start a new life with the man she loves the most. When you realize something suddenly, you want to run and hold the hand of that precious and not waste a moment.

Geet forgave Dev, seriously couldn't digested..but this is not new in TV industry....Pratham raped Gauri, did he ever got punished? He repented and Gauri forgave him...Arjun raped Kajal in koi Dil Mein hai, is he ever got punished? No, he repented and Kajal forgave him...Angad raped Kripa, she left his home, but later forgave him....
