Setfree, how can they move on in their lives if they are holding the grudge? We see how much Dev's presence affects Maan. It is only when you let go of all your negative feelings can you be at peace and that is what Geet wants for the both of them. Dev is a reality they have to face. He is not going to disappear into thin air even if they want to. Justice system works slow in our country and all said and done we Indians cannot totally break family ties, which Maaneet would have to if they don't listen to the matriach of the house. So forgiveness here becomes a practical option for both. That does not mean they will forget what he has done.
