The outhouse scenes were even more fun,may be since I was watching a daily soap after a long long time,I enjoyed everybit of it far more than anyone else,I got completely crazy and wanted to praise the makers,actors and everyone for bringing in some refreshing moments on TV which wud give some pure entertainment...

But the only issue was I did not even know real name of Geet,I searched it to find her real name as Drashti Dhami..thought she was a sikhni,but later came to knw she is a gujju from Mumbai...

I created a fan club on Orkut,promoted her and also made sure people watched her for atleast once,becoz she was indeed very very different from the other lot of actresses,I mean from bollywood...

Then I turned to facebook and began writing for Drashti Dhami and the show in my articles,praising the show and the leads...

Came the build up before the Dargah Scene and Maan insulting Geet,but what was the most decisive moment in Geet was the Dargah scene..the way both Gurmeet and Drashti expressed their feelings,it made me say..they were far better than expected and imagined...

I was falling in love with the series even more...

I realised,Geet was no more a fiction and many fans were considering it larger than fiction,real and the behaviour of the fans on social networking sites was something atleast I never experienced it before..

Since I am more practical than what it appears from my writings and I simply pen down the general feelings around,just like a reporter..

I eventually turned myself into a reporter working without pay for the series Geet,for few unwanted and for few most desired...

The episodes were appealing and I got the feel of the actualy story after watching all the episodes from 46 to 73 from where I started following the series...

I felt Maan was falling in love too early,becoz if the main story was to be considered then following were the decisive moments which wud change the storyline completely..

1) Maan and Geet falling in love

2) Geet revealing truth about her pregnancy

3) Maan,Dev and Geet confrontation and reality of Dev

4) bringing to justice the culprits

5) Maaneet wedding..

These were the obvious plots which wud come in future..

I thought of this when Maan felt he was actually in love with Geet...episode 100 when Maan takes Pari to pub....

I felt the makers were making a big big mistake,by rushing thru the plots where Maan and Geet were falling in love,becoz that wud mean..the following plots wud come early than they shud actually considering the longer run of the series.

Surprisingly,fans were demanding the makers to reveal the truth and there I felt,fans were acting kiddish and were not considering the future outcome of the plot,if Geet revealed her truth too early...

For all thos who feel,why I was so serious about the show?

Geet was the only series which had healthy number of men audience and audiences from all sections...

It was different and since the leads were too gud as actors,I felt their chemistry shud be used to its best becoz watching Drashti and Gumreet in such a plot was once in a life time oppurtunity...

The plot and the theme,struggle of a girl who gets cheated appealed big time and the writers and the channel had struck Gold indeed,be it actors or creative team.

Which they cud have used to create history only to realise they used it to set up one of the most talked disasters as a series product which was the best not becoz of its quality but lack of competition from others.

Surprisingly the makers did try to extend the track by showing fake engagement and this is the plot which was under used...

I wasnt aware about India forum,I was only writing on facebook,Geet page..

I wrote an article " Impact of Geet revealing the truth wud only be felt after the series ends"

This was after the adds were aired,where Geet reveals her pregnancy truth and Maan reacts sharply...

Unfortunately,the fake engagement track was not used properly,the competitors track,or possible competitors track in between Maaneet wasnt used properly...

Only 65 episodes used by makers when more than 100 episodes cud have been used where Maan and Geet were falling in love...

As a fan u feel even more bad,becoz the moderator came and read the article way before but did not take any action to make the writers realise its possible impact which was clearly mentioned in my article and which unfortunately came out exactly the same and add to it Guru falling ill.

Downfall of Geet began when Guru was in hospital...

The leads were not at all responsible till that time,,,

It was creative and planning teams lack of planning and lack of proper guidelines as to when the 5 important tracks wud come and after what interval...

When they knew fans were loving the track where Maaneet were falling in love they cut short it ..by

bringing in the 2 most important plots within a span of 15 episodes which ensured,geet wud be dragged for sure in future...

Instead of dragging the plot where Maan and Geet were falling in love,which ensured side stories involving sasha,tasha,pinky and adi alongwith others...the makers dragged the plots which were hated the most by fans...

Rifts and misunderstanding between Maaneet...

In the process they destroyed the feel of Maaneet love,when both misbehave with each other...

It was evident that the initial blunders and misplanning made life difficult for makers where actors left the show and the makers were forced to introduce the most hated and two irritating rats..

Despite AA introduced,what made majority of fans even more disappointing was the way Maaneet wedding was intruded by AA scenes,wedding functions sidelined for AA track...

All this done by the makers despite vast opposition by fans and plead to show happy maaneet wedding.

But just like typical daily soaps,they add drama to it and realise later that TRP's were falling and drama wont work with Geet...

Atleast three months before,I had written...Typical masala and formulas used by other series wont work with Geet..

Geet is different for its leads and the chemistry between them...

Simple Maaneet nok zhoks and day to day plots with Drashti and Gurmeet in it is enough to sail the series smoothly...

But fans voice was consistently ignored...and the outcome...

Geet not just lost its ground but the makers were forced to change the writing team which had already destroyed the series beyond imagination.

Maaneet wedding was ruined,Maaneet scenes lacked chemistry and had more drama with dialogues from 1980's Mithun and Dharamendra movies...

The AA track forced many to either stop watching Geet or watch it on net by forwarding the AA scenes..

Despite Barry and Manish catching the nerves of fans and showing what fans wanted...

The poor writers were forced to show Miscarriage becoz of Drashti Dhami's refusal to sport baby bump for personal reasons...

Resulting in destruction of the only reason which was a standout reason for the series being so different and the characters Maan and Geet so outstanding...

The initial adds claimed,people wud be proud of Geet...

How the makers wud make look Geet extraordinary only God knows,becoz henceforth the story wud be just another story and the struggle of a girl is no more relevent...

Becoz if one is to be beleived....the maximum they can show is Dev and NainT is jail and that is it....

The possible future relationship between Maan and Dev's kid is no more on cards,which wud have ensured more plots and long run for the series...

For fans who are opposing now wud realise later that this is the end of Geet and is rather an unfortunate one and is becoz of Drashti Dhami.

Vikrant Khatri may be hated alot,but the time is nearing when many wud agree that Geet has indeed been a missed oppurtunity and the reason for me writing so much was becoz of the potential it had which was wasted and not just wasted but was forced to suicide
