Vij, Great to feel your voice; to you hugs and kisses, I miss you tons on the thread.
I can assure you its picking up momentum and a new flavor added to the episodes. Like we say, the perfect blend of all spices with the right balance of salt, so far. When most viewers are so fully destabilized from ❤️😍 ground level by Maans Tai Chi performance, his emotional realization and Geets emotional breakdown, I agree and 👏 this transit into a new direction of the phase of G & M's life but................
Vij, get back on the thread soon. I am very disappointed with this complete miscalculation of 'justice theme' which is so very important to the show. A law that cannot be redundant has to be applied, and a universal law is already in motion with his misdeeds being punished through goons and powerful creditors. Yet the fickleness of all 'womanly hearts' to forgive and forget is something I find hard to digest. If this show is also catering to a young crowd of women, then what is the message flashed for their understanding - forgive your rapist and allow him to have a clean life. Wouldnt he succumb to his misdeed again without rehabilitation ??
Need your wisdom and support. Today there was a scene where Geet cried out in agonising moments that the Maan she knew has changed, now more infested with hatered and anger !!. Realizing Geets despair, he makes his decision to change. Change to allow Dev under the same roof?? How can Dev go unpunished and be equated with every other good human being, after what he has done - he married her, so to speak raped her and had his pleasure for the night, took away all her possessions, left her for dead with sleeping pills not turning around even for a moment except to smirk and walk away with his wife, satisfied his great game plan to dupe this innocent girl and her family has been his trump card.
Cheers😭

Arrey nahi yaar - that wasn't what Geet was thinking when she said the Maan she knew has changed... I think what was being portrayed here is that hatred cannot be more superior than love... I don't think she in any form has forgiven Dev or forgotten what he has done. But the necessity of the moment was to save her love. So as we heard in her own words, as hard as it was for her to bow to Dev, it wasn't more important than her love for Maan.
She just wants maan to understand that - She wants him to realize that as much as he hates Dev (And that too for her sake), he should know that the hatred cannot be more important than Geet and their child. He should not have said "Mar jaane diya hota" without thinking about how that would affect his loved ones...
I don't think Maan allowing Dev to stay back has any relation to Maan and Geet forgiving Dev or forgetting what he has done. There are other reasons for Maan's actions:
-> Maan's promise to Daadima
-> Maan's realization that his overreaction hurts his loved ones, and it's best to think logically
-> Maan being so high on self respect (With hurt ego that Dev gave him blood and how he is indebted to him), trying to pay that back by giving him shelter temporarily.

Today both maaneet were right and wrong...
let me explain why i feel so
what geet said was absolutely correct....
but maan's hatred and anger for Dev was not wrong....he hates him for geet....he hates his brother because of a crime he has commited......
his anger is a good....we do not want maan to get soft on Dev.....DO WE?? NO! Dev deserves this hatred.......and anger from Maan.....
It is not like maan was angry and hating what geet did.....yes not tellin him the truth was wrong on her part.....it was.....who cares if dadi told her not to......she should listen to what her heart says not what others say....
so both were wrong.....and right at their places........what geet said to maan was right and wrong....right when she said how can he think she would let him die??
wrong when she said that he is selfish....yes he is selfish....but geet...and he has said that before too....that he is still the same MSK .....selfish.......but for her only....her happiness only!! IT HURTS maan to see dev walkin around in front of geet.....as it hurts him to see her sad!!!
He doesn't think himself....he thinks of her only!!!!
However, maan was wrong totally when he said that she should have let her die.....his LOVE for geet is soooo selfish that he hates Dev with a passion......he forget in his hate and anger.....that what would Geet and their child do without him???
How can he utter such words???
So both were right.....and wrong!

Today I really feel glad that I started watching this show and got to know about it!

Or else I would've missed out on such wonderful acting, such a powerful storyline, such an amazing cast, and the list goes on.
GHSP has been know to be the epitome of change and difference. It is different in everything it does. It sets examples, standards for all other shows out there that dwell on the fact that miunderstandings, fights, dilemmas, and such are what a show should live on. But that's not the truth. GHSP team knows what fans want... they know showing illogical tracks and overloads of MUs is never going to get an audience like that of GHSP.
It truly set itself apart today for showing us that communication is the key in a relationship, and that unnecessary dragging of a problem is never going to get anything solved. So I am glad that they let others know that they are different by showing Maaneet clear this whole dilemma within one day! Everything started and ended the moment it happened. They didn't feel the need to show an extensive week-long or even month-long MU. That would've been the case if the serial wasn't GHSP. BUT GHSP is different .. it doesn't feed its audience illogical tracks.
I am just really glad that there is a serial out there that portrays understandings between couples in such a manner. We have a problem -- we face it. We face each other .. we do not let anyone else's words override us. If this was another serial .. Maan would've doubted Geet .. just by listening to a random stalker .. and gotten angry at her .. yelled at her for deceiving him .. and Geet .. instead of going to him would have cried in a corner and Daadima would've either gone to MSK to try and make him understand .. or not at all ...
But that didn't happen -- and I realized that indeed when we say GHSP is different .. IT TRULY IS! Today's episode is just one in many to prove that point further!
😊 I hope you all agree .. to which there is no doubt.

Hello,

I certainly would not think for a moment that Geet would forgive Dev. Nor Maan. Because she mentioned her pain in confronting Dev for blood. And her promise to Dev. But circumstances of what happened to express Maans pride in her trust and loyalty and confidence in his wife can take the form of allowing Dev to stay in the house. The purposes of the entire journey of Geet gets nullified in this act. And that too not because of Maan's decisions but the unheard but signature hearts message from the 3 most beloved women in his life - Geet, Dadima and Annie. Dadima and Annie still have not realized the extent of Geets sufferings. Maan has. Geet as we find becomes a pawn in the hands of dadima, out of a sense of duty.
I am surprised that Maans anger which to me was justified (even at this high temperature) was already coming by way of hints given to Geet esp. the last and most imp. one of the convo. with the Khurana client. It took that long to realize until damage was done. I justify Geets actions thereafter to explain the events that led to her truth being revealed.
All religions talk of forgiveness but God has also provided a constitution and law for man/woman to totally take advantage of but not to exploit. In the Khurana Khandan, many decisions of life also revolve around money and power. In so doing, the faltering before law is also a possibility. Dev has to be punished at any cost to reveal the truth of taqdeers place in sin, and a strong portrayal of law taking over is a pride for me especially that in reality many would find succour there.

Cheers Dtri.

Shivi...For men like Maan...in full on ANGRY mode....that anger CONSUMES them...and they infact become what they are normally not...insensitive and cold. That is what happens to Maan...and this is not the first time we are seeing it happen. During the Original/First MU track, right after the Diwali party, again Maan's ANGER consumed him....and he ended up hurting Geet by dancing with that Arhana girl, and then forcefully dancing with Geet..manhandling her...and causing her to slap him.

ANGER...or I should say excessive Anger is a weakness too...very similar to PRIDE or excessive PRIDE. SO you see....Maan is a man with weaknesses....Anger being a vital weakness for him.

Geet always tempers his weakness..his anger. Last time it was her slap that brought him out of it...and today. it was her harsh words...harsh but truly needed.
