Thank you! He he... I love the idea of spies and corruption and scandals rather than a complex human psyche 😆

Sookie, I stumble upon this yet again.
I'm sure you got several comments...let me add one of mine. You never let me skip thru the parts...which I do sometimes that I could figure the plot out and get to the bottom.

There is something I can't put my finger on...I have this off feeling of Dj vu.

Hey Sookie,

This is one of the best parody's I have read of Romeo and Juliet! Oh! wait I haven't read others and yet I would still be right, if I were to say no one else could do a M&G version of the parody better than that.

We are all serious romantics her when it comes to M&G. It's almost like there is a mind block when writing their characters to fit into any other Genre.
Sorry I'm speaking for so many people here, but I'm still very sure only a handful will come behind me for generalizing.

Sridevi pinged me the link and I didn't know what I was getting into when I opened it during my mundane meeting.
Great piece and the size was just perfect to get through in that short half hour, between some scattered nodding and glancing at others (I almost gave the guy the impression I was following his slide). Ultimately it proved fateful, given I had to to excuse myself to have a good laugh in the bathroom. The dialogues...Uff!
Well I can learn a lot just from the size of that piece ( If you don't know what I'm talking about, trust me you are still in a good place LOL). It's really some talent to convey all that humor and the idea in such length.

Maan sitting through her histrionics is still fine.. but she , sitting through that utterly uninspired , one dimensional insipid tosh🤣... and arguing while at it!😆

great to see something from you after soo long..😃

PS: I love the disjointed connect between Maan and Geet in your writing.. the most obvious thread runs between Maan and his perception of her, the continuous wonderment at her antics and the effect she leaves on him in her wake..

Nice to see your comment and observation of Maan and Geet of these fics :-). The disjointed connect is what works for me as they represent duality of an argument. The stark contrast of their persona is what I always go for which unfortunately never really was explored in serial itself.

Thanks a lot for the comment :-)

Sookie,

Great to have you back!! Man, Maan and Geet had such potential (I realize this when I read your story!).

By the way, have you ever read this? I remember reading this back in the day and LMFAO 😉

It was printed in the July 1995 issue of Reader's Digest
and was listed as being condensed from the Columbus Dispatch, November 8, 1989.
Columbus Dispatch, 34 S. Third St., Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Devi! This was howlarious... I passed on the original link to my colleagues and everyone is like...wha...?

😆

Brilliant one!
