Sookie, I stumble upon this yet again.
I'm sure you got several comments...let me add one of mine. You never let me skip thru the parts...which I do sometimes that I could figure the plot out and get to the bottom.

There is something I can't put my finger on...I have this off feeling of Dj vu.
👏

Hey! Thank you for stumbling by :-)

You have read something like this before? Hmm... interesting...
He he glad that my OS made you sit through it completely...

Hey Sookie,

This is one of the best parody's I have read of Romeo and Juliet! Oh! wait I haven't read others and yet I would still be right, if I were to say no one else could do a M&G version of the parody better than that.

Thanks. I hadn't read any till Devi sent across one. She posted that one here too.

We are all serious romantics here when it comes to M&G. It's almost like there is a mind block when writing their characters to fit into any other Genre.
Sorry I'm speaking for so many people here, but I'm still very sure only a handful will come behind me for generalizing.

My earlier writing are along those lines too. But there was this one time I wrote an analysis document where in Geet analysis and documents Maan's mood swings. After that I stuck to writing humor and ditched soft heart romances.

Sridevi pinged me the link and I didn't know what I was getting into when I opened it during my mundane meeting.
Great piece and the size was just perfect to get through in that short half hour, between some scattered nodding and glancing at others (I almost gave the guy the impression I was following his slide). Ultimately it proved fateful, given I had to to excuse myself to have a good laugh in the bathroom. The dialogues...Uff!.

Aahh...the presentation afternoons of doom. I am honestly glad that I was of help in that area. The whole ppt thingy bore me especially when people use way too many MSPPT features and show their talent. (Which I severely lack, by the way. I bribe/cheat/bully/pay/pull rank others to do it.)

Well I can learn a lot just from the size of that piece ( If you don't know what I'm talking about, trust me you are still in a good place LOL). It's really some talent to convey all that humor and the idea in such length.

Well my inspiration comes from things around me. Yesterday a colleague was mortified to find out that his wife wanted him to buy mills and boons off counter from mall on his way back home. Poor chap was trying to make her understand that come Saturday, he would buy her a dozen. But the lady did not budge so he bribed me into it. (Everything I do has a cost involved. He knows it. So I get espresso for next one week.) Nah, not in good place.
What's so great about being good anyway? 😆

Thanks a million for dropping by and appreciating my writing.
