Samir Sharma seems to justify this smooth transition to Dev, very well. Now the real transition from the good to the very bad would be a total treat to watch. Therein lies Samir's potential at his acting abilities. He seems the cute baby in sleep, but this villain is up to something very devious.

I refuse to take him at face value - a changed and repentant man. He needs to be evil - thats where he will fulfil the prophecy. They would not bring a highly competent man to enact this character unless until there is a deeper plot laid for him.

Kudos to Samir Sharma.

I just saw the epi again. God, I saw Maan's shock hearing that one word of support from Geet. At the mercy of Dev's treachery, Maan and Geet suffered everything together, and Maan rightfully says and displays his hatered for his brother who ruined Geets life. Yes Al....because Maan has always been there through all of Geet's hardships...before she got married to dev....and even after she married Dev and he left her....maan was there...he saw the pain in geet's eyes....that fire in her eyes...but he did not care then....and he didn't even want anything to do with her....

he saw her struggle with her family.....he saw how she was beaten treated.....he saw this......he saved her, but later when he found out that each pain Geet has gone through and he has witnessed all the way from the HP days......was given by none other then his brother Dev.

So now when he see's dev....he too remembers what geet had gone through...if he cannot get that image of what his brother has done to geet out of his mind.....how can he think Geet can? which is why he is confused...angry......that he has not forgotten what Geet has been through....he cannot forget THAT TIME WHEN GEET WAS SOOO CLOSE TO DEATH and he saved her in the forest!!!

He has even said in previous episodes that he will never allow geet to forgive Dev!!! NEVER

Truly.. this is one negative side about Daadi. She becomes highly selfish when it comes to her grandsons. No matter if they're criminals... she would still have that feeling for them that they are her blood. I guess this feeling of blood relations does that to some people. They forget what's right or wrong in that situation. But keeping Dev there is Daadi's decision. She never thought twice how Geet must be feeling about supporting her in the matter of Dev.

Z, you'r absolutely right. Some instinctive blood sentimentality seems to bring that overly protective feeling in Dadima. Her wanting that entire family together before she dies.!!

But dont u think she was not the same softie when it came to MAAN when she heard of his accident. I can simply say that Dev is the more helpless character hen-pecked by all, as we have seen in his previous Dev character. He deeply loved Maan and respected him. He does that even now ! There is a more sure Khurana in Dev than Maan, as it seems to unfurl !! Why arent the CVs dwelling on Maans Khandan, his past, his bro, his girl etc. Why Oh Why ??

Right now Dadi seems blind to Geet or her feelings. But the inconsistency in all characters, except for MSK, has to be corrected if the new CVs need applause. Otherwise it would be 👎🏼
