@goose tht is different but wen u r portraying a character u r acting it and not living it , if tears roll down naturally it shows how much u r into tht character so it sure is a big deal..

shedding a tear wen staring at sumfin constantly & portraying a fictional character is totally different..

Shreya, I understand what you say but one does not have to write in first person to bring out the emotions. In my experience of FF writing, the emotional scenes are at their best only when I myself experience them. In fact I go through agony when I write painful scenes. The days I am not in the mood and yet write, the writings reflect the disconnect.
