Hello Nissar, Mr Mirchandani, Ved, Sudhir, CVs et al. Read Nissar's interview today in Telly Tadka, very inspiring. It was so good to hear from the Captain of the Ship.

I received an inspiring email today that I want to share with you. Read it, understand it, absorb it and apply it to Maaneet's situation today. If you've understood it you should be peaceful inside, looking forward to the precap.

"The journey is just as important as the destination."

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.

There comes a point in your life when you realize:

Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore...
And who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Geet anxiously waiting for Maan, missing him so much that khuli aankhon se sapna dekhti hai. Remembering his promises to make her his life partner, to bring a smile to her face, to be near her always, she waits eagerly for him. The dream is so real to her that when he outstretches his hand and says chalo, Geet gets up to follow and steps on the beads hurting herself.

The dream is broken. I like how it was portrayed.

Geet stepping on the beads and hurt – meaning obstacles stump her for the moment.

But she immediately walks on looking for Maan. – she's overcome the difficulty.

She doesn't find him but she is smiling shyly – She will still be positive (her base nature)

For those who may be looking like a sad smiley…this is the first tasalli.

Maan-Dadi

Its very important to pay close attention to this convo.

Dadi says, she understands what feelings Maan has for Geet. And she is not against his decision (of marrying Geet). But she feels that the timing is wrong.

Dadi cant forget that NT is part of family and knowing that she is fighting with so many, setting a wedding date now would be inappropriate. Besides she also does not want Geet to be hurt again.

So Dadi is trying to balance the situation knowing what is going on. Pretty savvy Dadi. She was acting like the astute family head and owner of a business empire. I was happy to hear Dadi say that she is not against Maan's upcoming wedding plans. That's good. Coz yesterday, Maan had asked for Dadi's blessings and consent. He got the consent today. But the blessings have to wait for a more opportune time.

So she proposes a waiting period until NT is better. She possibly is still not aware of the full details of what's happened so far.

Maan is in a fix – caught between Dadi and Geet. He cant go against Dadi but he emphasizes to Dadi that whatever he is doing is for Geet's happiness. And he would never wish that Geet would be troubled due to any decision of his. As it is, what ever NT has done, Geet always pays for it. He will never let that happen. So he agrees.

Wah, Maan. In a few succinct words Maan conveyed to Dadi that though he respects her, he is still steadfast with Geet and always will be. So Dadi too will not be able to hold back Maan for long.

Maan's Dilemma

Maan is reminded of the promises he made to Geet just that morning. So he calls her to talk to her. But wo to uski hi Geet hai…bina kahe sab kuch jaanne wali. Loved the way she left him speechless with the depth of her feelings. Unknowing to her she has also increased his guilt. Barry, fabulous dialogues.

Today's best scene. Maan wondering how do I tell her. Geet sensing Maan's presence. She opens the door just as he raises his hand to knock. The sheer happiness and joy on her face on seeing him…poor Maan, unable to meet her eyes. Loved the way Geet hugs him and Maan holds her. I really like this new level of comfort and groW*H in their relationship.

Maan tells her that he wants to tell her. So Geet says since u filled my maang u've learnt to think before speaking. Since when did u start taking my permission….LOL !! In her excitement, she forestalls him and speaks out her hopes making Maan all the more uncomfortable . Geet is ready with her bag to leave before she realizes something's wrong.

Maan holds her hand and tells her that they cant go the mansion yet. They will have to wait a little longer. Wow, Nissar, you've brought out the agony of Maan and the Geet's pain beautifully. Maan says I know how eagerly u've been waiting for this moment….I was more eager for this moment than you. But what can I do Geet ? I could not keep my promise.

See how Geet reacts. Calm in the eye of the storm. She first wipes her tears before turning around. Why ? Becoz yesterday she'd promised him that she wouldn't shed tears. She does not rant and rave. She does not blame Maan. She does not blame her destiny. A total opposite of NT. She is able to withstand all this for one and only one reason….her immense love for Maan and her faith in him. She is able to dive deeper into her well of love to find the calmness and courage to face the situation….and to some extent even try to pacify Maan because she knows that he is hurting as much inside as she is. Both of them are exhibiting the epitome of selfless love.

Her stoic response is Maan's undoing. He cant take it anymore and so he leaves.

Wood-chi

Maan has done his wood-chi only for the second time. When he is angry and hurt and helpless. Today he feels helpless coz he is unable to keep his promise to Geet. But the workout seems to help him find a way. That's how I interpreted his expression at then end of the work out. He has a plan of action and is determined to follow thru. The next couple of days will show us.

Another indication of Maan (and Geet) keeping their promise…har subah aapse shuru, aur har raat aap par khatam. Will we see another scene like Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein ?

Nissar you and ur team are doing a fabulous job churning out such mouth-watering episodes.

Gurmeet and Drashti – Today I bow to you. The emotions Maaneet are going thru when Maan tells her he cant keep his promise at the outhouse….your performances in that scene were out of this world. I'm unable to express in any way how moving that scene was but still giving me a sense of strength, positivity and belonging.

This is how true love should be !
