So far, Maan is on the defensive. He has been doing the bare minimum required to deflect NT's devious designs from becoming successful. He knew NT would not rest - This is supported by his earlier dialog to NT - "Tumhara Shatir Dimag Haar Nahi Maansaktha". But, he did not expect her to make her next move so fast - i.e. within the same night when he rescued his Geet from her clutches and exposed her true nature to her friends and supporters. His first priority has been to make sure Geet is alright, to make sure no one else gets the chance to malign his Geet ever again the way NT has done in the party. Everything can be dealt with later.

He is a man of action. The first thing he does as soon as the day dawns is to proceed with making his ties with Geet legal, and to bring her home with full rights. Before he could proceed further, he heard the news about NT's supposed suicide attempt. His first reaction is to say he doesn't believe it. But, he immediately changed his mind and accompanied Dadi while leaving Geet alone by herself. Why? It seems against his nature to abandon the love of his life and run to hospital for NT. I think that he is shrewd enough to know that NT is brewing some new mischief and he wanted to go and find out what it is. That is the real reason why he accompanies Daadi. The first thing he does after reaching hospital is to find the doctor to get the facts about NT's condition; in other words about the genuineness of her suicide attempt. He left Geet alone because he considers her to be at risk when near NT, and hence, did not want to take her with him. She will be relatively safer at home.

As soon as the cops made an entry, the feelings on his face reminded me of the alarm raised by a sentry upon spotting trouble. The only question he put to the cops is who told you all this. Otherwise, he is keenly listening to the ongoing conversation. The mark of a smart person is to listen before making any move. It is only fools who try to defend themselves before they know the complete scenario about what they are dealing with. He definitely wants to have as many facts as possible before he takes his next step. So far, what little is shown of his words and actions proves to me that he is indeed an intelligent man and a formidable foe to reckon with. Also, till now, we have been presented only with the version of what NT intends to do. We have not been shown what Maan is going to do now. As he once declared to NT, he is no Dev and hence, will not negotiate with her or play with her on her terms. To me, he does not bear the mark of a man outsmarted. If anything, he looks like a lion waiting for the right chance to trap its prey. I believe in you Maan Singh Khuraana and hope you will not let me down in the way you outsmart NT and show her her true place.

All of this play between Maan and NT reminds me of a chess game. At this moment, NT seems to have made a checkmate. We just need to wait and see Maan's next move to counter it. Following are the moves, and counter moves that I traced so far in their ongoing game.

1) NT tries to manipulate the board to get acquisition of power at KC. Maan is already aware of this covert move, and wins in the knowledge that the board remains loyal to him. Even though we are not shown his talks with the board, the amount of info that he has clearly shows him as a winner.

2) NT tries to harm Geet in more ways than one and each time Maan rescues her.

3) The latest move is where NT is trying to frame the entire Khurana Khandan with the charges of attempted murder on her. We need to wait and see how Maan will counter this move.

not really, like you said, MSK takes in all details before striking, he thinks ahead, he wants to know all that NT is up too before going ahead. I think he will find a way to outsmart NT thats for sure, but how, dont know yet, will let the CV's suprise me

going for any bait she offers ...fall for any trap she sets ... he warned her that she will run for her life & yet cannot evade his punishment , his justice......

I personally felt his expression after that just meant "Watch Out NT!"

His deathly expression gave to me the impression that this man was not letting this go by so easily--just as he's not let anything by him so quickly either.

Very nicely you pointed out the Maan-NT "Clash of the Titans" conversation at KC where Maan himself confronted NT about how devious her dimaag really is, and that he knows she has no boundaries when it comes to playing games with other people's lives.

So after knowingly confronting her of all that, and knowing everything about her moves regarding the 25% shares, I highly doubt this man will let this one sneaky move of NT go by. He surely has something up his sleeve and we have just got to wait and watch.

Maan Singh Khurana is a man of his word, and I'm waiting eagerly to find out his next steps in both his relationship with Geet (although the precap shows us he's not going to move with Geet to the house as of yet -- of course for the benefit of Geet's safety and security) and with NT's suicide case.

Last night episode.. he looked back in form.. the same kind of expressions .. which we had seen earlier..

also one thing which he says to Dadima.. "you know i don't speak much..".. so looks like CVs are trying to re-iterate that Maan speaks less and more action..

I know he will surely fix NT/Dev.. as you said he is waiting for right moment.. so that means our old MSK is back...

Loved the analysis but wish they show Maan as the strong man of action he was portrayed as earlier.......now that he's convinced of Geet's love and has her by his side he should proceed to be on the offensive not defensive thus giving NT or anyone else for that matter no chance to be successful in their offensive mission. Also Sasha has been getting away with doing a lot of things how can that be blindsided

One thing I would like to say is that the Taveez has finally ended up in its rightful place ...around Maan's neck yipeeeeeee I am so happy!!!!!!!!
