So I am glad that unlike other shows... in this show... Maan asked Geet about getting married...

I am therefore positive about the whole episode... to me Maan filling Geet's maang signified that He considers their bond sacred and significant... He considers their relationship as one of a lifetime and beyond... which he then further confimed with his words to Geet....

So unlike other shows... this show has not made fun of this ritual... Cos other shows just show ?Maang bharna and ....Voila.. they are now a married couple... Thtz absurd and pathetic and making fun of the rituals....

by Filling Geet's Maang that day Maan just made her his but he still respects the aspect and tradition of marriage and that is why he has asked her that he needs to keep his distance till they are accepted by family and society.. He does not want any bad reputation for her.

and that is why he asked her officially if she would marry her and he is making arrangement for that..

The first most thing he did is to take her to Dadima and ask for the blessings.. But because of this NT's emergency dadima and he had to leave.. But MSK will make his uttermost priority to make Geet his lawfully wedded wife.. once he knows that she is not going to be affected by NT's aligetions and meanwhile he will keep her near and won't let any harm come to her..

The same thing he did at Manali... He could have gone ahead.. but no he did not as he respected Geet too much to take advantage of her. They will have to Keep him that way.. MSK walks in the path of truth and integrity and he will not cross his boundaries till he makes Geet his lawfully wedded wife... He is not miles apart then his brother....

well they are talking about official marriage i don't think they are trying to play with any religion and tradition

agree..They showed it as a high point in the show and now Maan and Geet are behaving like it had no significance other than that it meant that marriage is their next step..I mean that was MARRIAGE!..if you want to do it with all rituals ..than fine but dont show scenes like"kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi,..mein tumse shaadi karna chahta hoon,,..hamari shaadi kaise ho sakti hai"etc etc..maybe not proper marriage but it was marriage..filling maang is a BIG thing..we dont go around filling people's maang just to ask them that"will you marrry me?"!!

I agree with your POV. Yes, maang bharo is very important step in hindu marriage and I believe once boy fills up the maang of a girl...it considered they are married ...now a days CVs are making fun of this rasm..in Pavitra Rishta Manav fill up Shravani Maang and then doesn't marry her. Even though we know Hindu marriage is completed with varmala and saat/four phera around the agani...we cannot deny the importance of sindoor. CV's should not show all these rasms without any reason.It hurts our feelings. We were so happy Maaaneet are married and here they are not...I would have been OK if Maan would have said I have accepted you as my wife but I want to legalize this marriage for society sake by doing shaadi with all the rasams.
CV's did the same thing with their 1st engagement also...we had to see 4 engagements I hope we don't have to see 4 shaadi this time...I hope Maaneet get married soon.😊
