Dear Geet Writers,

Its been a while! After a disastrous two weeks that left me wanting to write "dard-bhare-nagme" in your honor, you sucked me back in today. 😳

I am sure you are sitting at the edge of your chair, biting your nails and waiting with bated breath for my thoughts...🤣...still...like it or not...I am back...just like Naintara is and how!

*Starts crooning*

Nagme hain, shikwe hain

Kisse hain, baatein hain

*Hits self on the head*

Sorry...I got distracted in some flashbacks of the last two weeks...I'm sure you understand...all the random detours you took made my head spin...like that spinning top at the end of Inception..😳...except yours did not make me think...it just made me mad! 😡.

*Presses imaginary delete button at the back of the head*

Hopefully that takes care of any lingering memories from the episodes aired since what I fondly like to call "Black Friday". For me, the last decent episode was shown on October 28 and the current story line is a good extension of the track from that week.

Alright...in the words immortalized by...well...ermmm...me...🤣...let's break down some key sequences shall we?

Yes? No?...Awwww.... its ok...I promise to hug you at the end! ❤️

INT. KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS ARCHIVE ROOM

Today started where the last one ended...in the spooky, appropriately dark, archive room at KC. As expected, Maan broke the door down to get Geet to the hospital. Now...before I proceed, I have to say, that was the flimsiest door to ever get broken by a Super-Hero in the history of television. Barely took any effort at all. 😳

Then came the moment of the episode for me. You had Geet & Maan behave rationally, sanely...like themselves! ⭐️ So much can be conveyed in the simplest of lines.

Geet's "Agar main aapko na kahoongi, tho kya aap meri baath maanenge?" conveyed all the pain she felt from one of the unmentionable episodes from last week.

*self-thoughts on why the delete button did not work*...yup...did not work cause it is "imaginary"...what you skipped that word??? 😡 Koi baath nahin...I too skipped the random plot and screenplays you fed us for a while there. 😳 Get used to this...I am inspired by you to take random useless detours that have nothing to do with where I started or where I want to go. 🤣

Coming back to the discussion at hand...Maan's "Main tumhari har baath manoonga" in turn had the weight of all the guilt he felt for all his actions.

INT. KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS OFFICES

So...Naintara meets Maan head on...eye to eye. I've said it before and I'll say it again...a good story needs both...heroes and villains...not uni-dimensional vamp wannabes like Sasha's character...but a true-blue "I am bad to the depths of my soul" type villain. Naintara's character as you have sketched it is one. The lack of guilt, the ease with which she lies, the superficial charm, manipulation...all hallmarks of a sociopath!

Today's screenplay clearly indicated that Naintara has lots of tricks up her sleeve. I will refrain from predicting what those could or should be. I just hope that you develop Naintara's character as a smart villain...like good sociopaths are and avoid the plots made famous by your brethren in the telly world.

I must say I love the small touches in today's screenplay...like Geet calling Maan from the hospital to inform him that her check up went well.

By the way...when did Tasha start doing real work? Maan wants Tasha to investigate how Naintara got out of jail....huh...say what? I was under the impression that all her character was capable of doing was run her hand down her long hair while simultaneously calling Sasha ma'am! 😳

Overall...good episode. I would give it a 7/10.

Loved:

Maan & Geet being more in character than they have in a while
Naintara coming in to her own as a villain
The attention to detail...for. e.g. GC's voice modulation in the confrontation with Naintara in Maan's office, the right flashbacks, self-thoughts & analysis, the hint of facial relaxation after Maan finishes remembering his moments with Geet

Disliked:

Your lack of attention to developing good supporting characters. For e.g. Romeo, Sasha, Tasha...all uni-dimensional caricatures with no depth at all. 😳 🥱
Maan not dragging NT all the way to the road like he did with Geet previously...convenient much writers? 😕

Ok bye...what...you want the hug now...🤗...one more...don't get greedy! Keep up the good work!

Me Loved the episode👏
I loved it that they arent rushing the episodes,I think its the positive side of show going 6 days a week😆
MSK-NT face off👍🏼
MSK-NT convo in MSK's cabin,BANG ON👏
Today MSK is a ltl bit distracted to see NT in office and thinking about geet's safety,thats why I feel he was not in his complete MSK form,No worries tomoro he'l be back😈😎Last time MSK was well prepared for the clash while NT wasnt ready for that at all Today it was a role reversal case
NT uff I've never loved a vamp in any show before,U The True Evil
