Don't worry Eveline, I'm equally enamoured by our dear Ms. H, so don't get me wrong, I'm just extremely infuriated by her refusal to see things for what they are. 😛 Oh, I know. I've never been so stretched like this before, emotionally and mentally. I'm beginning to feel that the Cvs have managed to tap into some deep unknown layer of sado- masochism in me somehow, all this unnecessry torture I'm going through on behalf of 2 beings who do not even exist. Going by all the other post, it looks like a lot of other viewers are in a similar state.
Why are we torturing ourselves like this? I can't believe it. And when I am in my sane senses, I realise that if one looks beyond the 2 lead characters, the show is such a mess- lousy editing, terrible characterisation, cliched situations and yet we're all so hooked!?! I'm actually feeling as battered by this show as Maan is by Geet's silly vascillations and her silent demands for his total blind devotion to her.

If not for the provoking or the evil nature of the bad and evil... a hero can never come into existence... the power of truth and good can never be appreciated... so to maintain the right balance bad is as equally important as good.

If there was no NT... there wouldn't have been the fighter Geet and a protective and madly in love Maan... and there wouldn't have been Maaneet! Yes, i accept I Love to Hate that woman... that she provides me the reason to continue to do so... She continually provides me the reason to love Maaneet more.

u said it ..how aptly....its when we are faced with bad that the good in all of us comes out....and NT is the backdrop against which this story exists..i have always appreciated her histrionics...today was even more impressive...her importance in this show was reenforced manyfold.

KARISHMA is too good! He does her role so well that we actually believed she is NT and that evil!

m sure..we all are pretty sane n normal n mature ppl in real life...wonder why this show has turned us into circus caricatures....we actually jump through hoops n perform weird antics for this one...and if u look at it from an outsider's point of view...he/she will be scratching his/her head saying...tell me again....whats so special about this one...??

Yes, circus caricatures, indeed, that's what this show has reduced us to, as you've so aptly said. And what do we get for our deewangi? silly MUs and silier twists and a silly, silly geet., whom we can't stop loving despite her unthinking ways, a Maan who's so gorgeous that he will never exist in the world however badly, sadly ,madly we all want in our lives!!
