Yes I wished they showed a long scene in that diwali room, with MSK telling everything that is in his heart to Geet....about all the pain and hurt she caused him. She was there, right in front of him, he could have removed his pain as much as he wanted. Today's whole episode should have been in that room followed by relevant self-talk scenes. With Geet beaming with positivity that she will set everything right now, coming back to her sherni mode, and MSK deciding not to give in and further controlling himself (throwing party to prove to Geet that she does not affect him), until Geet decides what she wants in her life. And thinking that if she decides to move on, he will not stop her now. Of course, he does not know that Geet is thinking just the opposite. Had they spend more time in that diwali room, all this would make sense here, as from MSK's perspective, he told her everything that was in his heart , so there is no reason to force her to be with him, and from Geet's perspective, she knows the damage she has caused so she has every reason to amend her mistakes. I know MSK was damn angry to speak his heart, but if Geet is in front of him, I could totally see him pouring his heart out in front of her for her to see the raw damage her actions caused to him.

Again, their ideas are perfect, but the execution is a mess, and hence I am not able to connect with the characters. They are dealing with the story in a very immature way, and so the characters look immature too, to me.
