i feel this symbolism in other way . geet was giving aarti ,while taking aarti maan was hirting himself . that means know geet will think only about maan and nothing else . even if question's are raised on their relationship according to the tradition (that means aarti thali ) geet will only think about maan's happiness ( she did not want maan to burn his hand ) . this what i feel .
