I really feel Geet should have just left the company and challenge Maan to take legal action against her for going against the clauses. Coz leaving the company would mean, for me, NOT needing his help. BUT staying in the company and working under him, for me, is already needing his help. Professional or not.

Jyo - I am not ratifying Geet's behavior at all. She was at fault for jumping to conclusions, for making a public scene and yes physically assaulting MSK. But for MSK repeatedly abusing her emotionally in public or private it still does not justify the abuse from his side! Thats why I am saying every individual has a choice when faced with conflict, stay calm or retaliate, an eye for an eye will make you blind whether you do it in public or private!

My take for today:


Geet ji...ki haal chaal? Dust Danav back doing what he always does? Must feel so comforting to know that cameos come and go but Stalker Khurana will consistently repeat the exact same pattern time and time again. Dear Geet Writers,

I really don't know what to say anymore. Am I even watching the same series? Is this what all this track is about...Maan wanting to prove Geet needs his help? Why is this new track lacking basic character and story depth? The characters are now appearing like mere caricatures of what you have sketched for 7 months now.

Lets back up to last Friday's episode...I disliked its execution...but you raised some serious questions that are fundamental to the characters of Geet & Maan. These are now just being shoved under the rug.

Let's talk about Geet first:

At a basic level, Geet lacks trust in humans. What Dev & her family did has left her with a fear of being used and discarded. Even when her heart is teaching her to trust again, her subconscious mind cannot let go of the fear of being betrayed! So, viewed from this perspective, I can understand why she jumps to conclusions about others intentions so quickly. Trust is not built overnight and when one has been betrayed as deeply as her character has, every major event is viewed and filtered through that sieve!

But now, Geet's character is coming across as emotionally needy. The way you wrote last week's screenplay, Geet felt betrayed when she confronted Maan in the office. This week, all that is pushed aside for Geet wanting Maan to do what...wipe her tears, come close to her...huh? Where is her resolve? If her anger and feeling of betrayal was so strong last week, where is that in this track? Her feeling of betrayal is now reduced to proving she does not need Maan's help?

Coming to Maan:

At the end of the last track, Maan seemed more hurt by the fact that Geet could not even understand why he wanted to marry her. He was hurt by her lack of trust in him. So why is it now all about wanting to prove to Geet that she needs him?

Maan's character is egotistic...I get that. Why is being egotistic equivalent to putting somebody else down? That is such a superficial interpretation of an egotistic person.

Closing Notes:

Have you read The Celestine Prophecy? Do so...one of my favorite books. It talks about control dramas and patterns in human behavior. Your characters are perfect examples of that. They behave a certain way because they draw comfort from the reaction they know their behavior will incite. Chew on that for a bit!

Jyo......completely agree with you. Maan's behaviour is not out of character. He is known to obsess over things in the past too. I certainly do not approve of his appraoch & i really want Geet to beat him at this game but i can understand where this behaviour of his stems from....

@ Jyoti, oh he is hurting himself, he is so shattered he can't even see straight, this makes him even weaker, but since his has brains between his legs he doesn't know how to handle the situation, all he wants is his Geet and that too in his own way! No doubt he created this sherni, but Im sure he is regretting every bit of it!

So now Dev is in jail and Maan didnt do anything to stop from this happening!

He was so hurt when her ring was not on the finger!

Ok he truly loves her, yet again he wants to treat her like dirt I know he wants revenge and wants her to give in, but still he is emotionally draining her...I truly want her to dissappear for a few hours, away from his office and his eyes, lets see what he does then! 😆 Trust me he will go pagal!

@Ayesha:I haat this😡..no sorry business🤗..in fact I m loving this discussion😳..after a long time we hv something to discuss at least🤣..its actually fun to debate rather than all on one side😆...I completely agree..,even I m feeling bad for Geet😭...even I want MSK to fall hard on his feet😡😆...I m just trying to say that MSK's ruthless behaviour was always there as part of his basic nature and its coming out now...in a way its good...because people always learn from their mistakes only😳...

@all i am amazed that u all are actually trying to analyze this. i have stopped trying to find any logic or deep thought in the serial since past few days. now atleast they are better at entertainment.😆
