Hello, howz everyone doing, especially after watching today's episode ? Some chilling, some fuming ? So, let's get on with the analysis.

Pride n Prejudice, anyone ? Swati, CVs ? Did we really have to have the 'Paisa pheko, tamasha dekho' because you really trashed Geet's character today.

So Nissar et al - Today was another action packed, roller-coaster ride. I hand you that. Very well executed. Outstanding performances by Gurmeet and Drashti !!!

Backdrop

Yesterday, we had the Khurana scandal break out into the media wherein Maan declared publicly that he was marrying Geet. He then turned his public act into a private proposal to Geet. He is now waiting for her response. Dadi forces Maan's hand to bail out Dev for a couple hours (that was the silent movie yesterday….so much for me thinking u r gathering the family around, bringing in Vicky, silly me). Many say, how can Maan do that without talking to Geet. I say, put yourself in Maan's shoes at that moment. Your Dadi is sick ( a heart condition), refuses to go to the hospital becoz of the media speculation and asks u to bring your criminal bro home for 2 hours…..2 hours, not for ever. What would you do ? Now this is not only ur Dadi, but the woman who brought up both u and ur bro. Even though it's definitely against what u believe in, u give up, only for a couple hours, in exchange for ur Dadi's peace of mind in these trying times. Is that wrong.? No. Could Maan have talked to Geet first ? Yes. But you have to make an instant decision and u cant ask for help, what would you do? Exactly what Maan did.

Geet overheard Maan's conversation with Dadi…only partially. That's the pitfall of eavesdropping. You never hear anything good because you don't hear it in its entirety. That partially heard conversation became the base of Geet's flawed decision making skills yesterday and today.

Before Maan is able to talk to Geet and bring her up to speed, Adi calls. Board of Directors are shaken by the scandal and are calling for an emergency meeting. If you are the CEO of a company, what would you do ? Exactly what Maan would do, prioritize and address the top most crisis situation.

Geet on the contrary, is already confused and falls deeper into her well of confusion when she bumps into Dev.

Which brings us to today….

MSK is chairing the emergency Board meeting, who are concerned, and rightfully so, of the impact of the scandal on the image and business of the company. The stock price is probably plunging. Sasha, I bet in your jealousy you, who is in that board meeting, did not comprehend the impact of your media tete-a-tete on KC's business. So MSK is trying to mitigate the risk at hand. As the head honcho, it's his job to come up with answers to placate his shareholders. That's the basis for his declaration that Geet will be 51% owner of the business…co-owning shares with him as his wife. Atleast one tiny bit of information about ownership of KC came out today….MSK owns 51% ! Believing in the strength of their love and confident that Geet would accept his marriage proposal, Maan goes ahead with his declaration. The ensuing silence in the room gives him confidence…he's managed this immediate risk.

As he opens the conf room door, he bumps into a livid Geet, still boiling under her half-heard misconceptions about MSK. So what if u r under stress, so what if u r pregnant, u have walked into an official place to talk to the owner of the company, who is supposedly the love of your life, the least Geet could have done was to find a private room to have her fist fight with MSK. But did she do that ….NO ! She humiliated MSK in front of his key stakeholders in his office. Still MSK tries to manage it by trying to stop her…but Geet is on a roll and unloads. What's the point in repenting after the deed is done, Geet ? What happened to your vivek, your Power of Discrimination. Seems like you left it at the cleaners.

MSK was right in following Geet in the hallway trying to make her hear his side of the story. You cant just say your piece and walk away, Geet. Running away from MSK is becoming a habit haan, Geet? You need guts to stand there and hear your opponent. So if MSK manhandles Geet and takes her to his office, he is completely justified in doing so. At least he has the presence of mind to have the private conversation inside his cabin….unlike Geet who prefers to wash her laundry in public.

Geet pushing away MSK such that he loses his balance. Every action has a reaction. That is pure science. But here, today, it was filmy. I would have been proud of Geet if she had been capable of doing that to Brij. MSK is too decent for her.

Dadi – Dev convo – bailing him out to have this dialogue with him…logical but selfish. I'm a little disappointed in her. She sacrificed Maan's chance at happiness in life, something she valued so much for a few minutes with Dev. What for ? For Dev to say sorry ? Dev, 'sorry' is the cheapest word in any language. One must never reach a level where u have to say sorry after destroying someones life.

Barry – Absolutely loved MSK's dialogues in the cabin…ek ke baad ek, kya teer mare hain…wah !! Folks u have to watch it, in neutral mode to appreciate the depth in those words. We've been always quick to feel Geet's pain. But today, feel MSK's pain in his questions. Gurmeet – I don't have enough words to appreciate your acting.

Geet's comeback to MSK's questions is lame. Doodle, Geet is your Confused Soul ! She translates it, no cheapens by counting the # of times MSK helped her as favors. What happened to love Geet ? Why couldn't you remember that MSK hasn't changed, he is the same proud, confident, arrogant, passionate male who loves you to death but is incapable of saying it in words. When Geet accuses him with 'Shaadi un ehsaano ki keemat hai', MSK lowers his eyes not because he is guilty but because he had never looked at it like Geet does and his brain is busy processing that new outlook. He still listens to Geet' rant because of his respect for her. But today Geet has worn blinkers on her brain and is incapable of understanding MSK. Wish she could also read his eyes !

When Geet says,;kabhi nahi socha tha, ke aap iss tarah mujhe beizzat karenge' observe the look of surprise in his eyes. No man worth his salt would put up with such a tirade.

Geet, in my opinion, was only doing 'cinematic posturing'.

Her lack of faith and trust in MSK today is what broke the Taveez.. Yehi sahi tha.

MSK tries to prevent her from leaving in the only way he knows how, force…because with Geet he is a man of few words and a lot of emotion. His world is truly falling apart, not with the scandal but with Geet's behavior and baseless accusations. He is in emotional shock…watch his eyes. He tries to read Geet's eyes. He snaps out of it when the Taveez , which is around his neck, breaks and he releases Geet. Holy mackerel, all this time when we were curious about the Taveez, MSK was wearing it !!!

MSK dragging Geet to the front door. Filmy, but the way Geet behaved today, heck I would do the same to her. Geet's public humiliation of MSK…if she had done the same to Dev instead of MSK I would fully supported Geet.

What a world of difference between the two media conferences – Yesterday, MSK protected her while she was tongue tied. Today while MSK could have pushed Geet to the wolves he kept quiet but Geet publicly humiliated him. Wah, Geet !

What next Geet ? How will you climb down that mountain ? Having second thoughts ? But didn't u just burn your bridge ? All the building up of an ideal, romantic relationship – blown away. How will you salvage it ? Bolo na, Geet.

From an execution, acting, dubbing, camera, drama, emotions perspective – Brilliant !

Gurmeet – Hats off ! I feel for your MSK !

Drashti – Brilliant ! So much so I could choke Geet today for her pig-headedness…. LOL

Nissar, Maan Singh – Fantastic job !

Swati, CVs – I think you had a crash and burn with Geet's character

@Vidya...that is what I have been asking too. The separation due to ego could have been done so differently. This was so run of the mill and over the top.

@spshastr: Sweety, its not about agreeing or disagreeing.. its just a discussion... Yes he should have told geet bout dev... But firstly he did not have time, secondly he was cut-off by geet..

Also when he left her in his house, he thought she'll meet dadi n come to know that she is ill... So according to him dev was comming to meet dadi as she is unwell...

Jyoo shonnu now i understand how u are so positive abt geet..its because of uttaran😆
