Hi all... my tuppence on Maan and Geet ...
the scenes I loved that were wonderful in capturing the moment...
I think initially they set the screen on fire when they were uncertain about what was going on... (most scenes...in the office... the day she joins... HP scenes... Ah Maan in HP was just absolutely good looking)
- the office scene where he stares at her before kurbaan hua
- kurbaan hua (smokin' hot scene/dance).. The "Rubaru...tum agar..." shot was just superlative..
- I think the hotel scene where he looks at her
- When he pulls her and tugs her along angrily
- dhabha scene when she touches his lips and he looks at her... (Ah... dear lord... I loved this scene... ek nazar was HOT)
- Staring at her from the car...
- Hug in the rain
(Dhabha waala set of episodes my favorite for their bollywoodization... thora of everything, masala, drama, romance, comedy...this is so bollywood na... usually other movie content is one theme mostly)
- Everytime she says "Maan" and he looks at her differently... it's just wonderful...
Everything after that dhabha set of episodes...that electric feel is missing.
Maan's eyes are his asset... he just needs to look at her ...
But just the simplicity should be retained, there is so much beauty in not saying much when actions do the talking.
All the big big dialogues from Maan didnt add to his personality. The silent Maan talking with his eyes... was just absolutely hot...
And where is Maan's hmmmmmmmmm..... Ooooh that was just bloody fantastic dialogue for him.
" Aapne kya Dev ko bail diya hai"
" hmmmm..."
"Magar kyon.."
"Chup"
"Aap mujhse pyar karte hain"
"hmmmm"
"Magar dev"
"Chup"
