Iv noticed that there reason why every1 in my family and me dont like watching "geet" anymore because the story is only based on geet n maan romancing...there isnt much another stories..there was of dev n nanintara but i feel is was badly handled

Other serials have more characters hence more storyline so that what keeps viewers glued on

She is the Strongest Female Protagonist in TV today and after a long time we got to watch a show where Female Protagonist knows how to fight for justice 👍🏼

This is what Geet is 😃 and we all Geetians are proud of It👍🏼 .....

somewhere i feel u r even more worried than debina seeing GC with DD. pls get it in ur head we love them on screen. just coz he is engaged with someone ...do we have no freedom to express our love for our fav onscreen couples...????????

regarding pregnanc..just coz show started in april doesnt mean she is 6 months pregnant....common sense right ?

I have not seen GEEt doing anything drastic to harm her baby. tell me when did she fall 3 times...may be once in HP...too early stage of pregnancy

Jyoti & behnein have a completely different concept to Geet and to compare the shows or even their TRPS is not fair. The difference is that Geet is alot more modern and up to the times now rather than the 18th century. Be honest how many women do you see in a day who cry buckets every single day enough to fill a damn river or what are the channces of u dying & coming back alive to find your sister is your husbands wife 😆 i mean those dramas are just filled with extremely unrealistic events not to mention the same old saas bahus type masala 🥱

however i do understand your pov amazing, although HP days were classic if the show goes back to the old days the same magic wont be there, and the show will really loose its charm. Trust me watching a certain show today where the doctors & interns were rapping about a certain female doctor in order to create the "old magic" before the show goes off air reaked of desperation 🤣 i was wondering what the paitents were up to if doctors were busy "trying" to rap 😆 it made me realise that compared to blatant idiocy, geet is infact still better no matter how boring we might find it 😉 that torture dear god i dont wanna add furthur 😆 but again even i sometimes feel bored of geet but as soon as i see the image of perfection maneet on screen i tend to forget boredom, its their presence its magic 😳 but having the lead cry and be weak ALL the time is still a big no in my books. If thats what u want then this show is not for you simple! 😊

See it is as Bridge explained...

1. there are currently arnd 8000 peoplemeters which exist in the country which act as a representative sample for the country for TRPs... in the absence of any better system, this becomes one of the few accepted 'currencies'

2. Since in India, most of the homes are still single TV homes, so what happens to get viewed most often are the more 'family' channels which cut across a broader base - viz. Star Plus, Colors, Zee, Sony...

Which is why Star Plus has a higher reach and more people viewing it... and the TRPs are higher

The others like Sab and Star One are relatively more niche channels - where Sab is about comedy, Star One about youth....

which is why Star One shows can get bolder in their portrayal of relationship...

On the net thing... usually people more comfortable with the net are the younger guys who would watch Star One shows, which is why these are so popular on the net...

However as the net penetration is still comparitvielyt low in India, these are not taken AS much into account... but things are changing

Strictly speaking, Star Plus and Star One shows are NOT comparable... everyone knows this - from the advertisers, the channel, to the production houses... and it is deliberately kept this way coz you are trying to reach out to a diff audience, looking out for specific content
