The thing is that Star One addresses a different demographic as compared to Star Plus.

Their target base is mostly the 18-35 age group while Star Plus targets a more wider demographic and extends it to 55-60 too...

The problem is that some homes have a single television set where maamis/aunts/family audience are glued to family soaps like Yeh Rishta etc.,

Also, the fact that some men folk find it interesting to watch reality TV or some cricket match, makes it tough on the 9:30 PM slot when you have day-night cricket matches etc.,

PPL who want to talk about Y geet should not be watched... please stop making posts here at Geet forum.... the Forum is for us to discuss the serial and not to announce that u do not want to watch it....

Oh well for that person who is stuck in the Ramayan age, I surely would recommend any of those "Indiana Jones" sequels or the "Mummy 3 or 4 " sequel

there are some other facts also.
I have strong doubt who are thsoe people said here that geet only showing maaneet romance , they r not watching this show and just came here and posting random comments.
those members who those them selves critics then they need to watched this show not only by read updates....
and for those member who ahve problem with geet romancing with some one then close ur eyes . u have problem now but where r u all when geet's family want to kill her, when dev slept with her after their fake marraige( do u knwo what it is mean , it's one type of cold blooded rape , dev did to geet)when dev snatched geet's innocence, where r u all dear members, when dev abandon her on the airport where r u all.
now geet have some happiness found in maan and u have problem y?
where r u all when geet's brother want to kill her but u have only problem when geet found some happiness and then tell us we r immature people.
it's hurt us that some poeple are not understanding the essence of the geet show and posting random comments. and hurts us who loves geet.
