@JanakiRagunath....I dont know which posts you are reading!! But WE definitely dont jump on People who actually "criticize" the show!! Criticism is very good for the show and we being the fans know when to Criticize and when to put a hold on it!!

@TM....I have no idea Where you are coming from!! I dont know how you can say GEET has no storyline...Well maybe u havent been following it....or maybe you are just so into the Eyelocks and romance that you forgot to notice the Storyline that is so strong in this show!
The best part is that unlike other "better" shows u talk about...this show can balance Logic, storyline, Romance and Eye-locks all together!!
Oh yea...Since you were "bored" and maybe stopped watchin the show..lemme remind you that the storyline is very much intact..and yesterday's episode proved it by giving the much needed justice to Geet! and that too without any Misunderstanding, Separation, fights, etc etc.. between the lead couple!
Now tell me which other show has followed a storyline soo well without all the Dramatic cliches...like coma...leaps...et all...

Oh yea also...what do u mean by the show getting boring?? DO you mean that a 18 year old girl ,robbed off her wealth and virtue, getting justice is boring? You should be actually very excited and happy that the ultimate justice has been served...and celebrate it...instead u r here sulking and whining that the show is getting boring??

I just dont understand ur logic...on one hand u say that u want a "storyline" and on the other u say that the show is gettin boring when the real Storyline is actually being carried off so well and is at the most interesting CLimax!! I am confused!!

Ermm..Why are we talking about other shows here to valid our arguments?🤔 I believe we can criticize the show cause criticizing the plus and minus sides of the shows will lead to interesting debates/discussions. As much as we want to hear praise and positive about our favorite show, we should be able to welcoming negatives sides too😛

Can we please avoid name calling those who doesn't agree with our POV? Why label people who are fans of Geet as some immatures and psychos??😳I am sure none want to be insulted or instigated cause of their likes for certain show and we don't have to jump into people who doesn't like our fav show either. Whom are we to tell off member from coming to this forum cause they don't like the show/present track or whatever the reason was🤔

About the show, personally i loved the track in HP..it was nice village location, Geets family, esp her younger siblings.. I miss those scenes😔 but the city track is equally good too, after all it gained the TRPs so it speaks for itself. And yes, I agree overdose of eye locks and romances cant rescue the show only, we need to think about other aspects as well. After all the show is about how Geet faces the challenges the life gives her and stand for her rights and justice in the society. CVs has slowly done that, we have seen her slowly transformation from HP days to now..she used to be naive, innocent and scared to speak for herself but now..she is ready tofight for the injustice done to her😛

Pregnancy track, yes..i find it hilarious when she jumps in out of windows, hospital lounges😲😆 But the CVs them self has admit they haven't focused on the pregnancy part yet but they will get to it soon..baby bump will be shown soon=) Again, its a fictional show, cant expect logic so lets enjoy it for the pure entertainments sake..Real life can never be compared with a fictional show!

If you have not watched since then, that makes some of the post you have made invalid. How can you possibly criticize whats happening when you are not even aware of it.

And no, none of you are ready for criticism. Perhaps I was being a bit harsh, I admit it, but I've seen a lot of topics where members posted constructive criticisms, and people fired up at them at once. Face it. You all are tuned only to hear praises, not criticisms.👎🏼

I do criticism of Geet HSP everyday, but not the way you do it. There is constructive criticism and then there is what you do. You openly bash the show and you are rude to members. There is a way to say things in good manner and civility. It seems that you may not be so well informed about what the people here can take or cannot take.

Well, hello now that I finally got around to reading your words of wisdom, I am tending to have some sort of indigestion.

Behnein Vs. Geet

Haven't even heard of these serials for starters but did a lil' bit of research. Lemme point out some contradictions in your thinking:

Jyoti is not a patch on Geet even by a long shot, cause it lacks direction, it lacks sense of purpose, it lacks clarity of vision, it lack finesse of story telling.

Agreed it is a story of a betrayed woman who finds social acceptance or whatever but where is the logic? Playing Sherlock Holmes, Perry Mason, Harry Potter ain't my cup of tea or even Horlicks. And what's with that Kabir character and his aping of Jackie Shroff's bandini gear?

Behnein is a poor copy of one of 'em Jane Austen novels. Excuse me! But is it not a lonnnnnnnnnnng drag fest that is about people with war paint?

Geet's pluses:

1) Technically well crafted despite the flaws
2) Fantastic photography
3) Brilliant juxtaposition of thought
4) Intellectual stimulation
5) Fantastic story telling despite the minor flaws. Let me classify here for you

GEET gives on an average 3 great episodes a week while other serials manage to give 1 great episode in a week or even less
The worst episode of GEET is equal to a GOOD episode of the other serials
The MODERATELY GOOD episode of GEET is on par with what you call A GREAT EPISODE of other serials.

On an average in 5 episodes of GEET: 3 are great, 1 is good, 1 is moderately good with flaws.
On an average in a fortnight you have 2 bad episodes of GEET that are equal to a moderately good episode of other serials.

So do the MATH here Sweetipie and you will understand WHY U GOTTA STICK around. PICTURE abhi baaki hain meri dost!!!

@Janki, Being a mother of a 3 year old and having led a 'normal' life during my pregnancy all I can say is there is no harm in jumping around provided your pregnancy is not complicated. I used to train in a gym till my last trimester. It is the absurd indian perception that pregnant women are supposed to take a complete bed rest all the time 😆

As far as the story is concerned, I don't watch many indian soaps, so I am no one to comment. But I watch it just for the entertainment sake of it. I do not like saas bahu sagas with tonnes of scheming vamps.

I want to correct some misconceptions

The "Ramayan" show that was aired on NDTV Imagine had good TRPs NOT because of any GC or DB or any actor but because of the fact that it is "RAMAYAN" even if "Ajit" and "Mona Darling" played the role of "RAM" and "SITA" it still would have garnered TRPs.

Secondly, an actor should be free to act in any serial and play any role. Those Ramayan and RAM fans by asking GC not to be MAAN are RUINING HIS CAREER

Ramayan is a social mythological drama of TRETHA YUGA (as per calculation what it occurred some 17 lakh yrs. ago??) while GEET is a social REALISTIC drama of Kali Yuga. GET IT!!!!! So comparing something that happened thousands of years ago to something that is a reality in the villages of Punjab even till today is nothing but foolhardy!!

Are you saying there isn't any storyline? Well there WAS:

The story is Geet who got married to an NRI and she became pregnant because she spent one night with her husband and the guy left her at the airport.

This is about Geet getting justice and not just sitting and crying and doing nothing. She met someone like Maan who stands by her side everytime no matter what.
Geet got her justice today. Now there is probably gonna be a new storyline. (That's what happens).

Geet does have a character. She's only 18, and she got deceived by a guy. It's about her living for herself. Don't you think that's the hardest thing anyone can do?

It's not all about eyelocks and everything. (I mean part of it is but it's also about the story of Geet)

My opinion. But if you don't like "Geet" then please stop watching it and stop telling everyone you aren't interested in it anymore because the truth is, it isn't going to make a difference to us. What matters to us is Geet. Why don't you go along the Jyoti and Behnaine forum instead of hanging around in your boring "Geet" forum.
