I swear... love her writing style.... very droll... makes much out of the mundane...
and also gets a bit of science or rather the art of writing into even very unintellectual topics like soaps... if you know what i mean...
the long comment? actually had discovered her 'chicken soup...' was soooo impressed by it that spent an entire page analysing why i was impressed by it 🤣🤣🤣

I read that comment and yeah your references to Clockwork Orange sort of sprung me down memory lane and the fake Apollo moon landings =))

Yep she makes soap watching seem all intellectual and it beats me as to whether we should set store on so much meaning or may be YES we outta, u know 😆 take for instance all those analysts who rip reams of bytes n bits in symbols n cymbals 😉

edit: on the other hand, I think the logic of illogicality and illogicality of logic akin to the sanity of insanity and the insanity of sanity are fine parallels,,,

Now...I am beginning to ramble and drone on 🤣

😆😆😆... actually she inspires me to start writing once again... and look for inspiration in everyday interactions... actually had stopped that in a while...
you a Kubrick fan??? vaise dont remember what Clockwork Orange reference had i made??
Analyse... ABSOLUTELY... there is nooo fun in life otherwise... correct me if i'm wrong, but you also work in the media industry right... or at least analyse it...? i remember a discussion on TAM with you 😆
BRILLIANT parallels.... i have a theory on the second one

You outta write buddy, any1 that can write a "long comment" for a Sookie Way is to my reckoning a fine writer

I used to skim over the media industry sort of :-)

Kubrick: Yep!! I envy that man or his language of cinema, and would love to take a crack at those scripts that are incomplete and unfilmed

@red Hmm..I am all ears.. oh sorry eyes...expostulate 😆

AWWW!!!! 🤗🤗🤗... thank you ya... dont know whether i deserve it though!!
Media industry? are/ were you an equity researcher covering media?
Kubrick (sigh)... though i COULDNT watch Clock work Orange... almost puked... VERY disturbing visually.. (i know... i know... sacrilege)
So my theory? ahem ahem....
i dont know how we can call insane people insane (ek toh there are soooo many kinds of insanity)... at times i feel they can be more sane than us...
as in just coz we're not able to fathom what they are talking about doesnt mean that they are insane...
as in even Galileo and others were considered 'mad' for daring to suggest something which sounded soooo preposterous... which no one could get... and he couldnt exactly prove....
What if they are actually ahead in their thinking... what if we are the ones who have left behind in evolution!!

🤗 Nah, guess the proof is in the pudding or more like eating of it, right, so can't say I'd say you are not good or not deserving without having read since what I have read so far makes me presume that what you'd intentionally write would be well worth the read
- boy convoluted logic 😆

Media industry...nope not as part of equity but as a trade off ...Clockwork Orange is a cult but yes it's visually taxing unlike a Fellini or a De Sica or even his best and much overlooked antiwar classic "Paths of Glory"

Coming to sanity of insanity and the insanity of sanity...both are pretty much interchangeable...what the butterfly calls the beginning..the caterpillar calls the end...what is blood to the doctor is red and ocher to the painter...what is saintly to the sage is nothing but mere another paradigm of escapist fantasy to the Freudian...Oops...time out!!! 🤣

WHOAAAAAA!!! good stuff!! what did you do your graduation/ masters in?? as they it is all about the persepctive... hell we ourselves differ in our views when we don a different 'hat'
what is a trade-off in research
I agree Fellini is very rich visually... but who is De Sica? which movies?

Perspective is a great teacher...we can see the building from a different angle to get a handle on the design, right!!!

Coming to hats, I always subscribed to Edward De Bono's "Six Thinking Hats" principle - and I love wearing the idiot hat 😆

Not in research but in information =))

De Sica as in Vittorio, the father of neorealist cinema of "The Bicycle Thieves" fame and 'Terminal Station"

Education, whooooopsie!! I am semi-literate or bordering on those illiterate/uneducated folks 🤔
