Perspective is a great teacher...we can see the building from a different angle to get a handle on the design, right!!!

Coming to hats, I always subscribed to Edward De Bono's "Six Thinking Hats" principle - and I love wearing the idiot hat 😆

Not in research but in information =))

De Sica as in Vittorio, the father of neorealist cinema of "The Bicycle Thieves" fame and 'Terminal Station"

Education, whooooopsie!! I am semi-literate or bordering on those illiterate/uneducated folks 🤔
😆😆😆
true true👏
oh the 'bicycle thief' guy? have seen that though not 'terminal station'' how is the latter?
semi-literate... doesnt look like it 😆😆
still havent understood your job profile bud... can you explain it in one line please?

If the Thieve was his best, the Station was his worst, but it is famous or notorious for the fights between Sica and Selznick as well as the controversy surrounding the debacle of the movie and no. of script writers who are supposed to have contributed to it :D

in one line - I am into information gathering, information retrieval and information sharing - 😆

Edit:

@Deej: for the best review on Station, I fished out this http://criterionreflections.blogspot.com/2010/02/terminal-station-1953-202.html [it's pretty much on the dot]

Edit again: 😆😆😆

I would have loved to see Kubrick be alive until he made Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum as both of them are evenly matched!!

Looks like some people are having fun!

If you have not watched Clockwork Orange, then you should. Or better yet, read the book. I love the movie adaptation but I don't think its everyone's cup of tea.

Ah! Bicycle Thieves; I watched it ages ago when I was still naive about film making and appreciating it as art.

These days I watch American Gangster movies made in 40s. Its nice to see loyalty among crooks and fine art of story telling with less complications and very, very few technological aids.

Coming to sanity and insanity debate, better read Nietzsche. No one can explain that better than him who went kind of insane in the end.
I have not picked up a book other than graphic novel in past few weeks and I have no intention of doing so for coming couple of months. I will come back to this perhaps in future as another story or an OS.

I had fun reading your comments!

Thanks!!!!

Hehe.. ya we kind of changed the thread into a chatting one and were quite enjoying ourselves 😆😆 😳😳
Clockwork Orange? i preferred the book. I WASNT able to see the movie ... ya so me one of the other set...
which American Gangster movies are you watching these days? and ya simple story telling is a dying art... people seem to rely more on weird twists and gizmos...
PS: where is the next OS in 'chicken soup...' really liked that series... please dont hold that to ransom 😆😆
