Hi Shifa...i dunno i think Maan was in a romantic relationship with Sameera....Geet is his true love which bound to have different feelings then a crush or infatuation/fascination....but he is grown man and he has to have been in relationship before this....they could have been married or seeing each other in college or collegues anything....but he has to have some strong emotional attachment to her that he was effected by her apparent betrayal....that he swore of women in general....and i m 100% positive that he has mommy and daddy issues as well....explains his disposition vry well.

I donno..he was always shown saying about this"anjana ehasaas" that meant he was alien to those feelings. and if sameera betrayal affected him so badly...then it got to be love...am not sure. Moreover, he should have mentioned this to GEET...if not her name..atleast he should have mentioned that he too has a past..or is it quite obvious to GEEt after she went to that abandoned room...😲

somewhere for me just SAMEER's betrayal is not strong enough reason especially when he was not supposedly in love ...ohhhh am getting maha confused.

Shifa....sometimes ideals are something which drive our emotions rather then the truth.....imagine if Maan idealized an ambitious, vivacious young woman...him being the one who always strife for perfection....saw this perfect girl and liked her...fancied himself in love with her....was very happy with her....even though he kinda saw she is not as he imagines her..like little deviation in her behavior....but instead he chose to blindly trust her....and in the end he found out that she was a gold digger who took all his money....took advantage of him and left him....without any concern or remorse about his condition.....wouldnt the betrayal hurt then......its not exactly the betrayal of love but rather trust....and isnt mostly people who think they are in love are actually in love with this Grand Idea of being in love??

Now compare this to Geet....who is his destiny....they are meant to be.....during his time with Sameera he was always in control...always had the upper hand...but with Geet everything spins out of control.......he looses himself...his sense of right and wrong.....his priorities change....his so called ironwall around the heart is tossed out the window without his consent.....its something he has never encountered.....the overwhelming tenderness or overprotectiveness that he feels for her,....not just attraction...but something more deeper that he cant even fathom it....does that make sense??...that falling in love with Geet is out of his control or intention....it something that happened to him.....unlike with Sameera where he made it happen.

about not telling Geet about Samaan....i personally think that they both are always occupied with Geets problem one after another that he never gets a chance to say anything....and i think its assumed since the spooky room that he did had a past but details have not been told yet,.....call it cinematic liberty...but it will come out.

another point is....Maan never likes to dwelll on the past...the only reason he heard Geets past was coz its related to her future aka the Baby.....so as long as he doesnt have anything connecting him or effecting him from his past he wouldnt say anything.

did that make sense??

@sin....i kinda think it will be different...i feel like sameera still likes maan but cause of some circumstances she had to part...maybe she has some illness...or maybe something else...but i feel like when maan finds out sameera's reason for leaving him...he will inclined towards her because she was his first true love....while geet and his relationship juss started.....at that point jay/dev will be at geets side

p.s. u are juss like me i hate these lovey dovey emotional attachar episodes🤣
