i have personally never seen Maan talk about the extent of his love .. neither have i seen him used those words in front of her .. infact their confession was all about emotion, understanding, appreciating, and accepting one another ... it was total surrender and it was unconditional... when that was the case, neither did degree matter nor depth .. and the message was loud and clear for the world to see, if someone were to measure it, it was the outside world.. never them!

this part of him is limited to Geet only .. he exposes this side of his only to that one woman who matters so much to him.. and does he because, he knows she is the only person who is worth seeing that side of his.. she the only woman who is worth deserving that side...the love the guy has for this woman is limitless ..
I don't want to count the number of times he has hurt Geet, either with actions or with words. But his mistakes are always forgiven (by us viewers), because the next moment that he showers love, it kind of conceals the mistake he must have made only a moment ago. That's how expressive he is....
i have always believed, you can hurt a person only when you hold that kinda place in anothers life ... Maan knows he can afford this with Geet .. he knows she will not judge him, neither would he ever do the same ...when he hurts her, he wants her to know, he is hurt as well, and he wants their own little world to come back to a state of equilibrium ...
Whereas Geet, on the other hand, has always been inexpressive or rather I should say she has always restrained herself from expressing her love. But does this mean she doesn't love him? No!!!
i think it is this restraint from her side, that makes Maan wanna give her more and more love, and shower her with all the happiness in the world, cos amidst all this, he knows if there is anyone who could love him back with the same passion, honesty and sincerity, it has to be her!
It is because she does not speak it out loud or show it in actions, that her feelings are always misunderstood. And the consequence is that her mistakes conceal the love hidden in her.

But folks, love cannot be defined in boundaries...adding depth or degree is like putting a boundary for love. Love is above all measures!
There was this episode of Rendezvous with Simi garewal where Abhishek Bacchan once said, love is too strong a word to be put into one definition! so true ... there is so much to love that one can see, and so much more that one cannot .. and the unspoken, unsaid bit is what makes a love such an enigmatic, divine feeling ... and such a thing is left best untouched!
