He Bhagvan!! Aisa Kyon???

Today for the first time, since Geet started, I am not going to watch it. I hated Ekta shows and for whatever reason this is turning out to be an Ekta show. I know that Gurmeet can not shoot for the time being. He needs rest. Fair enough. But the story line did not need to go in this direction. Misunderstandings and that too in this way? I thought that finally we had a show which will create history. It has all the elements to become a benchmark show of the Indian TV. I think that CV's are brilliant at their work and hoped that they will never feed us Ekta like crap but alas I am proven wrong. I am truly truly sad. I am sure there are other creative ways of carrying the story further while still staying true to the original brilliance. The logic of Geet believing Nayantara's lies is beyond comprehension. On the one hand, Geet seems to be emerging as a strong person within herself, even with Maan not being by her side and on the other, she is so easily taken in by Nayantara. Where is her belief in Maan and his love which he has expressed again and again and again? Where is her belief in her own love for Maan?

Even if there needs to be a new entry to prolong the story track while Maan is away, what is the need and logic of showing another romantic angle from whichever side? Can people not help each other without it having a romantic hue? I am still hoping that 1. the misunderstaning track is quickly going to straighten itself out, 2. the new character entry is not going to complicate matters between Geet and Maan and will not have any romantic implications 3. Someone will put Nayantara behind bars and have her shut up once and for all and above all 4. the purity, integrity and the incredible honesty and truthfulness in the relationship between Maan and Geet will continue to be so. It will not be maligned by stupid, run of the mill misunderstanding.
