Today's episode was GREAT!!!👏👏 Kudos to CVs for moving the story forward with one the leads still out due to illness. Drashti You ROCK girl!! ⭐️⭐️You were amazing. Your acting blew my mind! You did an amazing job shouldering the show without GC.👏

Now coming to the episode:

----Geet was fantastic!!! 👏She was in fact a lioness today. A lioness symbolizes courage, power, dignity, authority, dominion, justice, wisdom, and ferocity. Geet was every single one of them today. She had no fear revealing the truth in front of everyone. 😊 She is so Strong and she showed her strength today. 👏 I wish Maan got to witness Geet in action, he would have been so proud of his Geet. 😳 She stood up on her own two feet and fought HER battle.👏 In fact this was her battle since the beginning and her fighting alone makes right. Maan wasn't there physically for Geet but he was very much by her side emotionally. He taught her to be strong and Geet is the strong person she is today because of him.

----The dialogue was fantastic👏. "Aapki us halki si muskurat ki, jo hoto se zyada aapki aankhon mein dikhti hain. Woh mujhe aage barne ka hosla dete hain". This dialogue reminded me of the scene where Maan forces Geet to take up the Chopra Project. They communicated with their eyes. You can see that Geet feeds off energy from him eyes. His eyes give her the confidence she needs to take up any battle. 😍😍😍😍

----Naintara was awesome! She is truly evil and serves as a worthwhile opponent for Maan and Geet. Although I hate her, she make up for the fact that Dev is a total snooze as an antagonist! 🥱

----Dev must be the biggest coward to ever exist on this earth!!! 😡😡He is a spineless moron. SHAME ON YOU DEV!!! I hope he ROTS in hell for all of eternity!😡😡 He stood there dumbfounded like a freaking tree! Couldn't even admit his crime, so much for going to the police station! You don't have the guts to do ANYTHING!!! 😡

----Abhinav- His "acting" is a disgrace to acting! He stood there like a wall...no expressions what so ever.🥱 It's not like he had to do too much. All he had to do was look surprised or shocked or something!! Move a muscle on his face. NOPE...NADA! If any of you watch the episode again look out for the extra in the red shirt standing behind Drashti! I'm telling you HE had expressions than this so called supporting actor! And to think that he wanted to be a lead is a JOKE! 😆

So tomorrow, most likely Maneet will separate. That is a much needed step in this track. This would be a temporary separation and which has great potential for Maneet in future. Think about how Maan would have to woo Geet to get her back. She deserves that doesn't she? 😳Don't you want to see Maan sweep her off her feet? I DO!! 😃 That would be so awesome. 👍🏼Also, this new entry Aditya will help bring out the jealous Maan. Don't we all love jealous Maan?? Adtiya doesn't even have to be interested in Geet for Maan to be jealous. Just the fact that he is a guy and is within 5 feet off Geet would be enough to drive Maan insane.😆 Personally I'm excited to how it all unfolds. Plus this "separation" won't last for years unlike in other shows. We just need to be patient for 4-5 episodes and all will be good in Maneet world!😉😍

Overall FANTASTIC episode!! DD you ROCK!!⭐️⭐️⭐️ GC we want you back soon! ❤️

Nissar & CV's - I have a mixed feeling today…I am torn apart into halves as first the feminist inside me liked it and the second half the critic inside me hated it. So I rate it as 5/10

First half- "Nayi Geet"

As a "die hard" fan of "Geet", I thought it was a thoughtful and exciting return to the elements that made Geet a classic. I realized that one of the key aspects of the soap that made it pleasurable for me was the character Geet. Thanks for sticking to your main story line "Geet hui sabsey parayi"

We got hooked to this serial from day one because of Geet's story and her character. We saw her without MSK for 10 episodes and the story was good and we were involved with in emotionally from day one. It was good to see her standing on her own and facing all the odds. Like I mentioned yesterday she gave inspiration to many unwed mothers.

Dhrasti stole the show! She didn't make us realize that MSK is missing as I was just flabbergasted seeing her emotions flowing. Dhrasti you are the superstar of the TV world! (10/10)

The dialogues by Geet ---I want to kiss the hand that wrote it… (Kudos to you Ms. Barry Dillon) because the feminist inside me was jumping to see "the woman of substance"

Then…

The final curtain fell today for "Geet" which debuted as a 30-minute serial on April 5, 2010. In its six months, "Geet" dominated the ratings for almost four months, introduced television's first awareness of honor killing and fake marriages which won millions of fans around the world. It also created the entire Hindi soap's greatest super couples "MAAN + GEET"= Maaneet.

Now what next??

CV's ,Star one, Swati, Richa & Nissar- The main story or the main essence of the soap is over today ?? why was the rush?? We invested a lot of time as soap fans, willingly spending time with a host of necessarily diverse characters. But, every so often, there comes a phase that is so irritating that we become resentful of every minute spent in for the same. I felt that today to see the rush and you guys trying to finish the main story within 24 hours.

I was more irritated to read Swati Pande's interview …esp. she stressed that there will be plenty of romances. So are we fooled?? We love the story and it was so stupid just to focus on the romance side of the whole thing..

I understand female audience members(including me) get huge chunks of romance thrown at them, stuff they can relate to and easily identify with, stuff that reminds them of their own libidinal desires and fantasies and offers them vicarious fulfillment of these wants and needs.(But we also are something more than romantic fools….so try to understand)

Also remember when audiences invest in authenticity or main essence of the story, the last thing they want to hear is a producer or author telling them, "Oh, grow up, this is show business, this is just a product, this is how the game is played" I know you guys are good in your jobs but .be careful that it won't turn as other Ekta types!

Pointers:
1. How come Maan S Khurana was taken to the hospital by a guard when the whole office was present?
2. Why Geet didn't see that someone is being carried off the stretcher from her office- it does not happen everyday at workplace.
3. Again why senior management was not informed of about Maan being stuck at the elevator ?
4. His whole entourage entered with him inside the elevator but how come only one body was out of the elevator. The bodyguards disappeared?

5.. How come Maan was by himself in the hospital, no staff or anyone around?

6. Why dadi is not informed?

7. Why Geet does not recognize Meera ??

8. NT is the only one who scolded the staff for wasting their time in gossip!

9. Meera- Finally she realized that she was supporting a devil…does she understand what crime means.. What is fake marriage ??
