@An, he might have seen women in his childhood shedding loads of tears and not really take a stand against injustice happening to them (real mother, step mother) and then later on Sam might have tried to woo MSK for his money. All this justifies why he always told Geet not to cry, tears make one weak (mother case) and why he falsely blamed her for being after his money (sam case).

@Vidya-This is exactly my problem. MSK was shown to be new to love. Remember Dev's diologue to him in the earlier episodes- 'I have never seen you like this, you must be in love'; The driver commenting on his drunken state as something he has never seen happen to MSK before; The whole anjaana ehsaas thing and his confusion over his feelings for Geet, all told me that love was a new emotion to him. So now if they bring in a turbulent romantic past for him it will not sit very well with me. Hence my problem with Sameera's character..

Tell me about it!! I know, exactly so! I know MSK inside & out & can't see him undergoing such a big event without even once indicating to Geet! Mazaak hai kya? He married or even lived together fathering a child & not telling Geet!? Where is the MSK who said Truth, Honesty, Trust, Sincerity blah blah blah!!?

And when he referred to Sameera in the outhouse then the concept was just introduced by the CV's, they should have thought of it before they sketched MSK's character earlier!!

@Gouri, relationship with Sam that too for dadi's sake, and not because he loved her. Like Vidya said, the image we have gotten of MSK so far is as if love is a feeling he is experiencing for the first time. Me not saying you cant love more than once, but in MSK's case, this does seem like his first.
