@All those online - Oye ! Here's my update ...

Before I begin on today's episode, wanted to quickly run down my checklist.
I had put down some thoughts on how to deal with GCs absence for the next few days on Oct 5th. We'd all said CVs had a lot of options. Let's take a quick checkpoint of what has been covered so far from this list –
o They are already at a critical junction in the story. They don't need any further complexity until they have sorted this one out…which has to be held off until GC returns. – Cvs are doing a great job showing the unity between Maaneet even though they are far apart.
o Therefore, they cannot bring Sameera into the picture now. It will make a mess.- She hasn't made an entry ….yet.
o They can extend Geet's kashmakash using some more flashbacks. – Check….ongoing.
o Show Meera – Geet convo. Meera seems to have her heart in the right place for Geet. She can still be an ally.- Check. This convo started today.
o This is my favorite – It's an engagement party of the most eligible bachelor in Delhi…time for family to gather around….so Dadi invites Vicky. Perfect, neutral distraction…to carry the story forward logically while GC recovers. It will also give the CVs another thread to develop when GC returns. Low risk to story, viewership, TRPs etc etc, perfect mitigation plan ! – They havent brought in Vicki obviously coz they canceled the engagement. But…they still did bring in family …. NT !
Today's episode –

Maan pitching a tent…thinking about Geet, remembers the cancelation of the party, the gossip, but inspite of all this his heart still aches for Geet. He still does not doubt her. He has slowly begun joining the dots…remembers Geet's urgency to talk to him.
Geet is still in the same frame of mind. Not believing that Maan would have gone without talking to her.
Maaneet's self-talk…holding us fans together.
Who wouldn't try to make the most of a situation….cant find fault with NT doing that. She is awesome today… a great strategist. See how she handles Dadi, Dev and Meera. One against all of them. Wow ! But her Achilles heel will be Maan ! He is the only one she is afraid of. But who told NT about Maan's engagement ? Not Dev, not Dadi…becoz Dev had confided in Dadi that NT left him….so who told her?
Naintara thinks no one knows about Geet's ateet except her n Geet. Oh boy, is she wrong …. Maan knows half of it….wont take long for Maan to know the other half.
Meera – hope u've realized by now that Dev has feet of clay. How can she fall for such a spineless fool…..glad she recognizes it while talking to Geet.
NT – Rishto ki dor itni kamzor nahi hoti. ….. LOL loved the way NT says – wah, humne bhi geet ki tarah baat karna shuru kar diya !
U know what, Meera – NT is right, move on….dont waste your life for Dev. He's not worth it. CVs maybe u should hook her up with Vicky. Maaneet on one hand and Vicki-Meera on the other …. Dev/NT ki toh aisi taisi …. LOL !
Pinky-Adi finding out about Geet's pregnancy from Pinky's dad ! Wah, CVs. In the coming days, Maaneet will need allies. Build up this relation. Adi-Pinky ko thoda bold bana do taaki they can face off with Sasha / NT n gang.
CVs are doing a fabulous job, using GC/Drashti's absence to build up so many new threads without compromising Maaneet's relationship.

CVs, Nissar et al – kudos to you guys for keeping the interest alive in the story even though your main characters are sick. Also, thank you for showing us bits n pieces of Maan every day. Keeps us going.
