Dev looks like is repenting his act and admitted to take the fitting punishment

I think Myra should insist on him taking the blame and going ahead to the police and getting into jail, him giving himself up. May be a geet, myra and dev confrontation that maan hears….

He gets 7 years (donno the law too much) my esteemed friends like anjana..and anamika can help…myra waits for him…all the years.. he studies law in the jail

Once out he starts with myra an organization that will help women who were abused by men like him.

He is banished from Khurana family, NT is peeved and has left him long back when he gave himself up for the jail…she was given money to not trouble maan and geet…by Dev

The ultimate punishment would be from the child who will refuse to acknowledge his existence and of him being the sire….

i donno. if i want to really have him redeemed..as a character..but..if CVs have this in mind..i do not want them to have him and Geet be in the same frame for more than a minute...

now coming to the post....
Dev repenting his act & wants fitting punishment.........GOOD!....but how do we actually rate his crime , i mean his act...was it cheating, fraud....dowry issue...what????.....if you ask me his crime is in par with that of RAPE....he raped her faith, her mind, her soul, her future and her body.
and to a crime that is in par with rape the punishment too should be same....Capital Punishment.

i though agree that 7 years or more one option suits fine for NT, Dev's Mom & Sis....
but for Dev its too too less for Dev.

i hold the same view as you....but i'll reduce the time limit coz i don't have patience or strength to tolerate him more than 30 seconds in the same frame with Geet.

@Bold - Yes if they going the redemption way, I would like him to be in jail and him being called UNCLE for the rest of his life.. Him being banished from the family and Maan being Maan - he is not a very forgiving man. He brought back Dev only on Dadi's insistence.. but here - He would tear apart anyone who hurt his beloved.. So Dev would not get forgiveness from Maan until Geet pacifies him for Dadi's sake..

Again, this is a sensitive social issue and I would like the CVs to take a stand and not say if u repent , everything is hunky dory.. You need to earn the forgiveness!!
