#Devil's Den# - A Lil' More Convo; satisfy us baby - Page 3

My quick take:

Have you guys heard the song Humrahi by Atif Aslam? Its no favorite of mine but I've always liked the lines below:

Ho dharkan, khwaish, barish, boondein aur ho koi apna
Us say mil ke mausam badlein aur lagey sab apna

Today's episode was like a gentle breeze blowing over me. It completely warmed my heart…gentle...sweet…ahhh the beauty of a love slowly coming in to full bloom. Was it perfect…no…but…I loved it! It made me feel good!

Shall we break it down? No? Yes? Lets…even if its just for posterity's sake!

Bathon bathon mein pyar hone do: This was, by far, one of my favorite GHSP sequences! It showed everything that is beautiful about a love that is at its inception…the looks, longing, hesitation & the akwardness. Up to now, the attraction has been shown…but there is nothing quite as lovely as finally moving from attraction to loving & being/feeling loved. Growth in their comfort with each other was shown throughout the conversation…Geet splashing water on Maan irritatedly, Maan wiping his face with her duppatta and stopping her each time she wanted to leave etc. Liked how that Maan managed to get talking about her past without getting distracted. Loved how Maan finally turned to Geet to face him and looked her straight in the eyes and asked if he could hunt for the person who cheated her…PERFECT!

Tu chupi hain kahan: The placement of Dev-Meera scenes are getting better and better. It does not feel misplaced now. I can understand why Meera is supporting Dev but it was a nice move to show that his touch is still too much to bear! This bodes well for the Meera-Geet interactions.

Kaise Kahen Hum: I liked the story showing Geet thinking through what she could or should share with Maan regarding her hunt for Dev. I really wish the story had shown displaying faith in Maan and sharing what she knows...the name could still be a secret. Do not want her to lie to Maan at this initial stage in their relationship.

Closing notes:

DD & GC were fantastic to watch…spot on expressions & tone.

Now that Maan has seen the number and recognized it as Dev's…I hope Geet does not lie. The story could have her saying it is the only contact number she has but that she wants nothing to do with it and throw it away. This way, Maan, now realizing its Dev's number, can do his own investigation while Geet's story moves in parallel with Meera and eventually to a Dev confrontation.

Favorite line today: Geet…"Chup chap udhar murthi bankar kade rahenge ya kuch kahenge bhi?"…loved this. Previously, Geet would have just stood there, dumbstruck, staring at Maan…but now…she feels completely comfortable speaking her mind!

Love ur take Ayesha, Geet will repent on her lie one day! Honesty is very important to MSK, she should tell him the truth!

Poli, you dont understand your kuddi. She understands her man very well, the reason why she did not share her pain. She knows she is much stronger than him and is capable of bearing much more pain than he can. She saw how just asking one question could put him through so much torture. Imagine what he would go through knowing how much the past still hurt her and how much she wants justice and how helpless he himself could be in ensuring that for her (atleast that is what she is thinking, isn't she, that he will not be able to trace him so easily?). It would kill him if he cannot find the guy. She wants to pre-empt all this. for the first time she has seen in happy. she has seen him actually laugh. She will not do anything to jeaopardise it.

Somehow I want to write today... maybe not as long as the analytical devils of the forum but still want to try......

I want to write about both today and yesterday's episode. For all those who thought kal ka episode lacked consistency think again. I actually enjoyed kal ka episode becoz there was an awkwrdness in the Maaneet relationship which had not there before. Maan knew something new about Geet and he wanted to protect her, take care of her and we got to see that thrice.....but at the same time he was in a fix how to ask her about the man who betryaed her. He wants to take away the pain and yet not inflict more pain by asking about her past....he wanted to do it in a subtle way . Wouldn't it have looked abrupt if Maan n geet had talked yesterday....to me it would have been. Suddenly Maan comes and asks geet to tell him about the guy. No it would have been abrupt ...too abrupt. Plus we would not have seen a different caring Maan who now aware of her pregnancy wants to take care of her. Maan wanted to divert Geet's mind from going away and he did it in the way he thought he could do....picking up a fight with Geet coz he knew she would retaliate for sure....Maan said today "tum chup achhi nahi lagti" and when they were returning he didn't like how quiet she was so he started a convo with her. In this relationship Geet is a spontaneous girl who has matured due to her circumstances but in heart she is still an 18 yrs old bubbly girl who thinks from the heart but Maan is the mature one who thinks from the mind, has seen the world and knows the ways of the world much more than her. So we got to see the care, the dilemma that Maan was going through yesterday plus trip ka base bhi to banana tha yaar samjha karo!!!!!!!

So coming today's episode....if u see both yesterday and today's episode then it makes total sense. Finally after lot of dilemma Maan gathers the courage to ask Geet about the man who betrayed her. And she wants to protect her man who means the world to her. She might not have said the 3 golden words yet but she accepted about the new life they are starting together. That indication was good enough for Maan....how happy he was to hear that from her. I loved his dialogues and how her past doesn't bother but the person who gave her pain bothers n he wants to get her justice, protect her. What we saw today is both trying to protect each other. We saw a thinking Geet who doesn't want her man to go through the same pain she did'maybe his pain will be more. So both are trying to protect each other. Geet wants to help Maan to so how she postponed the meeting'.wese HT said SHIMLA'yet manali kab huya yaar😆
