hiraj d point here is not whose baby it is even if geet werre not pregnant , the fact that dev actually ditched her n deceived her n obviously hurt her feelings does not go unnoticed , even if geet were not pregnant , don't u think dat whenever there was a confrontation between geet n dev , maan would finally have known d truth ??

Agar baby nahi hota to Geet wouldn't have left her house and landed up in Delhi and hence no Maan-Geet story. Now, do you want that?

On a serious note, this baby sets Maan-Geet apart from all usual couples. And, MSK a man of his own league, and well-above lesser men, and he is going to be a coolest dad of a child that is biologically not his own.

no story without the baby.
1. Geet's family never tries to kill her.
2. Maan doesn't save her
3. she never come to delhi
4. Dev never get caught
5. Mann and Geet don't fall in love

most likely she would have been married to someone else really quicky
