dun think Geet will restrict her child's happiness. she sacrificed her
own joy for the unborn child. Maan, though feels that it isn't his
child, naturally shares an affinity towards Geet's child...because its
Geet's child.
I personally think Dev has NO RIGHT to claim the child since first
of all, they r not legally married and considering he cannot support the
child financially, he cannot legally obtain the child.
What influences a child is not his future but his past. if he is
raised by maneet, he wil surely not disregard maan, may b curious of his
rl father. but he wud noe his mother's pain.
however, lookin at the circumstance, I DOUBT geet wil reveal the
child's rl father to the child if (hopefully) maneet marry. such thing
cannot b revealed, rather its hidden most of the times until the child
is old enough to understand."
I agree, our parents are those that raised us, nurtured us, loved us and disciplined us. A child is need of every ounce of love from each and every meet. Geet's child, will understand the need for Geet's happiness. For a mother's happiness in in turn the child's happiness as well as an aid to its own happy environment.
True legally Dev should not be and probably would not be given access to the child.
However, in reality, curiousity if not family pressure will inevitably bring Dev into the child's life and thereby Maaneet's life. No matter how i look at it there is an 'ick' factor.
However I really would like them to show a way forward, where all find peace and happiness. That there should be compromise from ALL sides not only one.
I would like them to show that adversity is the best teacher, that they all 'grow' into adults NOT only the child.
