He has already accepted the fact that their fate is tied together the way moon's and night's is tied together, so no matter how much he forces himself to stay away from her he cannot do it. The way he quickly checks her temperature and then in the bathroom self talk decides to go ahead with the mangetar drama lets us know that he really cares for her. He is lying to himself and Geet because he feels betrayed by her. So the selftalk was really self justification for his feelings. When he tells Geet that he brouught her to the house yesterday cause of Dadima that again sounds as if he is reassuring himslf only.

Tummy Touching

One more time someone says the word pregnant and she touches her tummy I am going to break a few mirrors. Some time back no one even remembered that Geet was pregnant even she herself and eversince the confession evry sentence is puntuated with 'pregnant'
