I don't understand why people are against Dev-Geet confrontation before Maaneet's confession. I think it would be an opportune time to bring in the confrontation now because there is an impasse in Maaneet's relationship now. It would seem to Geet that Maan no longer supports her. Now if Dev meets Geet (I wish the fact that he is Maan's bro should not come in now) and begs her to forgive him and offers to do right by her, she should decline him. This would show that she is willing to face life alone with her baby rather than accept the man who had wronged her. If the Dev-Geet confrontation happens after Maaneet's confession, then it would not be that impactful because Geet already would have a backup in Maan when she declines Dev. so from the point of view of the strength of Geet's character, she should have this confrontation with Dev during this intervening time when her relationship with Maan itself has come to be a big question mark.
