Couplets for MaanEet

These couplets are what pop into my head when a particular episode of GEET touches me the most....

1) August/6/2010 episode: Kehna Hi Kya scene

Geet to Maan:

I lost myself that day,
The day my heart found you,
I was no longer even my own
How could I ever have known

You came like a raging tornado
To calm my tumultous life
I thought I was going to drown
Not realising I was in your safe harbour

Your eyes a pool of warm desires
My every wish contained in them
I did not know that I was lost
Until you showed me you found me


For both Maan and Geet:

You tugged at my heart strings
I thought it was my past pain
I could never have understood
All that my heart stood to gain

Just as my heart's door was closing
They floated in unannounced
these feelings of your love
Now where do I go from here
Oh give me guidance from above


2) September/10/2010: Its Eid Today!!
After today's confession by Geet and Maan's broken heart, the the only solace was to be found in holding on to memories they gave us, MaanEeet memories.....

kal kay liye shukriya,
aaj jo aap nay dard diya

oos kal ke bina nahi seh paatay,
maut ke mooh mein chalay jaatay

yeh raat jo kaali dikha gaye,
eid ka chaand bhi roshan na kar paaye

oon yaadon ke saharay hain ab toh,
joodtay nahi jab tak dil ye doh
