Yes, I quite agree with you. Whenever I see Maan I remember Darcy. This was so like his proposal to Elizabeth where he had no doubts that Elizabeth could reject him! In this case too Maan was so sure of Geet's confirmation. Although "I'm pregnant" was a hit below the belt, for a split second I liked the fact that he's now feeling equally vulnerable.

I am sure Maan will lash back, I just hope the viewers take it positively and don't lash back on Maan!😃It is required, then only he'll repent when he'll know the entire truth and accept Geet wholeheartedly.

Loved the PS. part. I am sure we will witness intense scenes like that! Abhi nahi toh kabhi nahi ..I mean the situation demands for those kind of scenes!!!

Ah yes! but its only cuz he is soo shocked. He had literally already heard her say the words- I Love You, and out of nowhere came -- 'I am pregnant'...totally unprepared. Must ve felt like a 4000 pound bus hit him smack in the middle of his face!
He needs to get his breath back. To understand what just happened.
Not geets fault either. She was in such an emotionally heightened state, the truth just came out like that.

Thanks and applause for making this fantastic and rational post in fact yes Maan is been a total Darcy when it comes to his and Geets relationship. He definitely had nothing to lose and he was being overconfident. He receded cos he is hurt agreed but what about the time when he saw the truth in Geets eyes.
He need to realise that Geet could have taken him for a ride but she didnt he was honest and it takes mountains of courage to admit something like this in front of the guy you love and moreover in front of an intense man like Maan.
She knew what she was doing and though she knew she stands to lose still she was sure that she wanted to be honest with Maan.

I dont disagree with Maan's reaction either he ought to be shocked. This is something unexpected for him and definitely something which would hurt and break any man.

Now I want to see him understanding and accepting Geet and the fact that she could have and has a past which is ugly.
He needs to long for Geet for the woman she is courageous, Honest, innocnet.
Till no he is in love with the child women he had in front of her for whom he was a protector. But now he needs and would love her for the courage she personifies.

You re soo right. Thats exactly what should/might happen now. I am confident this turn will only enhance our characters ,specially Maan, and not take away anything from his persona.
