Nargis,
I was thinking of the same. I mean their first kiss and so big-deal types. But then if you notice closely, it did look like Maan was savoring it. He closed his eyes and it was long. Geet, being a small towner, could not have taken it. She was too shocked and scared to feel anything. This may have been a common thing for Maan but not for her. For her, the kiss was a big deal and so she was surprised at it. It wasn't a romantic moment for them. They were put on a spot and had to act that way. And it wouldn't be appropriate for them to have eye locks in front of the whole staff. Agreed, they know all, but still.
And I feel this was shown as a precursor to what follows. I felt the same way for the fake hug scene when Tasha barges in. I was expecting some eye lock between them at such close proximity, but it was funny. And what followed was actually funny, she left the room.
So I feel the creatives have a strong way of showing things. We just need to hang tight and try to understand their rationale. They are smart, very smart. They give us intense scene when it demands, but when they don't show intense moments which look obvious to us, there is always a strong reason for it.
You have reasone and you are right at your place. Specially in my matter i really wasnt expected long eyelocks, or very cheesy scenes front of everyone, and i think no one expected that, but there would be some spark, which was missing, and it wasnt fully matched with the track..It was lost....It could be much better thats i think....
I can understand whole scenario front of office staff and Dadi, but why in the room he was so strict and rude..I think there he should had to be lil firm...
Anyways it was good epi, but not very magical.....
