I was thinking of the same. I mean their first kiss and so big-deal types. But then if you notice closely, it did look like Maan was savoring it. He closed his eyes and it was long. Geet, being a small towner, could not have taken it. She was too shocked and scared to feel anything. This may have been a common thing for Maan but not for her. For her, the kiss was a big deal and so she was surprised at it. It wasn't a romantic moment for them. They were put on a spot and had to act that way. And it wouldn't be appropriate for them to have eye locks in front of the whole staff. Agreed, they know all, but still.

And I feel this was shown as a precursor to what follows. I felt the same way for the fake hug scene when Tasha barges in. I was expecting some eye lock between them at such close proximity, but it was funny. And what followed was actually funny, she left the room.

So I feel the creatives have a strong way of showing things. We just need to hang tight and try to understand their rationale. They are smart, very smart. They give us intense scene when it demands, but when they don't show intense moments which look obvious to us, there is always a strong reason for it.

Well Nargis all I can say is that Maan appeared to be frustrated from the time he met Geet in the morning......maybe he didn't have a gud night sleep🤣.....on top of this, Daadi pushed him in a corner....so he came out angry & roaring........

it was not a kiss...not between Maan and Geet but between two people who were acting..a part..

Geet was shocked because she was not given a script..and Maan was doing extempore..

i felt...Maan did feel something..and he did communicate it with a small look..to Geet but Geet was too embarrassed to decipher it...

there is something related to cake and ring...why he did not eat it? that is niggling my mind more than the kiss that was not a kiss..

remember...Maan is a private person..he is pushed in a corner..and he could not get of it for one reason alone...Daadi..
he was ranting before she came..he fell in with Daadi's plans...when she came..
Geet is confused..she could not believe him yelling at her for the staff organising the party..turns out Daadi was the culprit..

Daadi saw..that Maan is not behaving..like a majnu..even tho she has seen him carry her..

she knows she has pushed him...she knows he cannot verbalise his feelings..she said that too..

i am not covering up for Maan..he did not want to kiss her..he took the cake and looked at everyone's expression and improvised..and he closed his eyes..to internalise the feelings she evoked not let people know..that he is a majnu..
he was angry at himself, for letting himself be maneuvered into this party. he did not want it and Geet of course did not even want anyone to know she is his fiancee in office in the first place...

they were worried what will everyone think..
now you all will say..what was the whole first 15 minutes about then..Geet was testing him sure..but she did not know..everyone was looking at them...
remember him smiling..in response to her coffee and flowers... even in that private moment..they were no where near each other..
even when he asked her to call him Maan..he did not...touch her...which he usually would have..
i think..he did this..because..he had mentally crossed his limit...when he had looked at her...eyes then lips..when he had given her the dress....

it was there..he had wanted to kiss her and he had let her go.and looked away...he had...controlled himself...but he could not resist one last look before..she had left the room..

i think they are scared of their feelings..they behaved in a no touchy feely manner despite wanting to...for they knew they will be combustive and will be on fire...

he has more passion than either of them can handle..and Maan is very fastidious, very genteel and he has shown this with looking away when she is not wearing a dupatta..or throwing one at her...at the first opportunity..

he is not going to do a PDA, he is not..the kinda guy....he is a very private person..
he would not call her sweetheart in public either..it was..forced..and it showed..and Daadi has picked it up if the precap is anything..to go..by..
so yes..i know..it felt it was first kiss but no..it was not a kiss..
he just grazed her fingers..with his lips..though he closed his eyes...

he saves passion for their private moments...
dont worry...he is not going to let us down...it may seem like a faltoo filler..and may be..it is a preamble to something..big..

i think...we need to understand..that romance, passion..cannot be switched on on-demand..and that is what was expected..a show...

dare i say all this...well i did..
and now..me hiding under the table..tho..i am so late..that may be no one...will even see my reply..other than Nargis and Rev...

i am not complaining..i was out all day..at the beach..
and dreamed of Maaneet there...
