Its crude but its like having your rapists baby. It does matter who the babys father is you may try to sugar coat the situation discussing the intensity of maan/geets relationship but in reality of course it matters that the baby is Geets future brother in laws child!

i agree that the situation is very complicated with dev turning out to be maan's brother.....esp if they live together in the same house.......i will not deny that......
....but obviously , once Maan knows the truth, won't he throw Dev out of his n geet's life for good ???........y should he stop loving the love of his life because his bro is a scoundrel ????........for geet, the act was done under the sanctity of holy matrimony......n she was the one who was deceived......so she n the baby r totally innocent.......
......finally, i just wanna add one thing.......havn't we seen real life cases when men have married women with kids ??????....or vice cersa ?????.......isn't it the same thing ?????

I have a son from my first marriage, have remarried and my husband raised my son as his own and we have a daughter together, however my first husband wasnt my husbands brother!!! My son isnt his nephew. You are stating a completely different situation. I agree Maan would be a saint for raising Devs child but this would mean the link between Geet, Maan and Dev would remain. Im sure Dev would want access, he is already sorry for the way he has treated Geet and then who would Maan be to stop him from seeing his biological child???

hats off to u n your husband......i really mean it.....i realise it must not have been so easy.....šŸ¤—
.......coming back to Geet, if Dev is truly repenting........he will never want access to this baby....... and i disagree with u on your statement..."who would Maan be to stop him from seeing his biological child "........Maan, as the child's FATHER, will probably make the child gradually understand everything........along with the mother.......
.........i totally understand that it will be a Herculean task for MAANEET to raise this baby.......but love can conquer....i believe this from the bottom of my heart.........šŸ˜›
.....i hope i have not caused any sort of offence to u.........just putting forth my POV........

My argument is the child is Devs first if he repents and wants to be the father. Not Maans. If later in the story Maan raises the child then Dev repents then that is different. But if Dev learns about Geets pregnancy whilst she is still expecting and wants a part in the babies life then Maan has no right to refuse. I still dont like Dev and dont want him to play a part in babies life but Im just thinking from a moral point of view, the child is Devs child, he is sorry, he will want to play daddy to baby......this is real life, although a yukky thought.

Moreover, on many occasions CVs have given an indication that Maan will not only protect Geet but also her child. Remember Gurudwara episode in Amritsar where Geet decides to give birth to the child. She had reservations. Maan was unknowingly present behind her. It was purely symbolic scene.

Even i was thinking the same.. Dev is going to fall in love with Geet once again.!

and is going to go after geet .. here Geet is going to be in double mind.. one side father of her child, other side the person whom she deeply loves...

they are yet to show maan's past and bad experience he received from the hands of his bro & his wife..he has forgiven his bro's mistakes, so i am sure he will be able to accept dev's child as his own..

what we needed to see is Geet's decision... she will not be able to declare her love for maan, and will continue to keep engagement for the sake of it... on the other hand we may be able to see a strong Geet who takes her sweet revenge on Dev to teach him a lesson.. but then again she will be in double mind since Dev is Maan's brother so will she tell the truth?? considering the fact that she wanted to see Maan happy.. whole family happy...

i agree with you.. cause NT and Dev will use the child as a golden egg.... so he/she will be quite emotional child , who's the parents. I just hope FB Geet peoples will accept our suggestion... There are so many children who live in a dysfunctional family.... SO PLEASE.....

Hi Rabbit šŸ˜†

I was finally catching up on some of the old episodes...Geet's wedding & all..MAN her family is PSYCHO :X Poor, poor Geet...and Dev is a monster! what he has done is totally unforgivable....fine he married her, cheated her, all that was part of the plan...but sleeping with her?? disgusting!!! I want Maan to beat up Dev like no tomorrow! :X

but ok coming back to the baby....I can finally see what you are saying. I just watched the episode (for the first time) where Geet finds out that she is pregnant. and she asks the doctor lady to lie about this to the family. it was so sad :( but we can see here how much Geet loves the baby..! she risks her life and runs away...knowing that death can creep up on her anytime. So I think you are right...this whole storyline is based on Geet's struggle...and the baby is part of that struggle...

I am just keeping my hopes high for the CVs....they have made us happy this far....lets see what they have in store for us now..
