Geet never loved Dev.She was just fulfilling her duties as a wife.She fell in love for the first time and she clearly told it 9th August episode.She said,"When such feelings happen to a 18 year old girl for the first time she becomes happy but I am crying."

Geet never actually fell in love with Dev, it was more of the admiration put him on a throne kind of this!
