So it's been a few days since I started the project, Confession to Geet, well it was changed to project Get Geet to Confess after a few, cough cough, problems. (Well Maan, what else can be expected with the lovely walking talking disaster occupying your thoughts). It's now the weekend again. And again, there was no confession in sight or even remotely close to the horizon. Well, at least it should be easier to do something about the not love between me and her, while I am acting as the dutiful fianc and following around Geet and Daadimaa for shopping. Shopping *shudders*. I knew there was a reason I did not want to get married, And not only that even that idiotic brother of mine ditched me, I mean us, to follow Naintara to his sasural like the whipped husband ( I mean, dutiful husband) that he is, and convince her to come home again, after they had yet another fight. My wonderful Daadimaa, my lovely (fake) fiance, and I are therefore shopping, since the big family dinner is postponed to whenever the odd couple, (I meant, Dev and Naintara) come back again. Well at least this saved me the awkward explanation and ribbing I will get because of the Pari and Geet switch.

Step Six, "Toh phir hum yeh khareed lete hain, haina Maan?". Step 6, standard response (Hers) "Pur Daadima''''mein kaise yeh sab'" and (mine) "Daadimaa aapko jaisa theek lagta hai", (hers, again) *a glare in my direction and scowling, and sweetly smiling back at Daadimaa*. Step 7, repeat of steps 1-6 until we empty some more of the bank account and move on to the next shop, to once again repeat steps 1-7. Yes, you can imagine. Do you know how hard it is to hide a Mahi moment or take aside Geet for even a second, with Daadimaa watching us with hawk eyes, I mean looking after us so lovingly. *Increase irritation level, 36%*. "Daadimaa, I have some work at office, I need to leave soon if your shopping is done or I can take a cab and leave the driver here for when you finish shopping". "Maan, aise kaise, I need your opinion, how I can shop for my bahu alone''..(*inner dialogue'Maan aap aur Geet kitne cute lagte hain, always with the staring and blushing, hai, maine itna accha entertainment nahi khona*)''.nahi, you have to stay and help us". *Irritation level, 60%*.

I just knew it, as soon as Daadimaa moves away, again she starts with the muttering about Dusht Danav's, Ravaans, etc. and scowling in my direction. (wait, is she rapidly coming towards me, *looking from corner of the eye*, yes she is'.think, think, what to do before I get another lecture about fake fiacnes and all that'..). "Daadimaa, yeh black sari geet pe kaise lagegi''dekhiye" (he shoots and he scores). *Irritation level, 32%*
