Geet should not tell maan things herself.

I have been reading so many posts where people are saying that Geet should tell maan herself right away. well here are a few reasons she shouldnt:

---- If she is goina tell the truth about the marriage and pregnancy, then why stop there, why not tell him the name and everything so maan gets to know that Dev , his own brother is the culprit in ruining geets life.

---- so if that happens, guess what maan singh khurana will be feeling--Guilt. Guilt that his brother, his family ruined geet. nOw that Dev is already and his married his marriage stands , geet needs someone to hold her hand in society(cause Maan being the responsible one wouldnt want her to live alone with THAT).
Pray who will present himself? Maan.

---- ah, so what feeling would propel maan to propose marriage? guilt.
He'll marry to 'right' his brothers 'wrong' .
And you think "romance" is goina feature in their life then anytime soon?!

Eventually too Maan will know but if we let things simmer down on the confession part:

---- like in the present HP track, Maan will know that geet is not just a flighty-damsel-in-distress.
She has been working on herself and her courage. Since Maan neva liked helpless women that shud make an impression.

---- This is not some guilty act that Geet perpetrated that she should confess to maan. Someone had mentioned rightly in their post that at this point if geet says anything it would come out as begging in the sense that --'see i am so pity-worthy, come love and help me out'. It would weaken Geet's character.

---When Maan comes to know from someone else he wouldn't think low of geet! he might feel hurt that she didnt share her grief but in no case can he feel BETRAYED!! Whats there to feel betrayed about anyway!Had geet confessed her love and accepted his and not told him anything , that would be betrayal. not this wen she's doing all she can to stay away.
AND He is not some shallow character to think of himself first anyway. Her grief and her reasons for hiding them are bigger than his own.

--if anything, it 'll help him realize how much geet LOVES HIM. Loves him enuf to distance herself from him.

--- We want their love to blossom like crazy, so that confessions , proposals, acceptance come out of genuine love not guilt or responsibility!

Lastly, as for geet not staying away from maan enuf and giving him mixed signals-- wen maan fell for geet he did not have much trouble from her side as she was unaware. But for geet, Maan already knows his feelings well enuf, so well infact that he cold recognize those feelings in her the moment she had them.
She didnt get a chance to LEARN to hide or control before he was all over her to confess. You need time space to recoup your defences. But Geet doesnt get much opportunity in that regard. LOve as it is such a damn powerful feeling and MSK doesn't make it easy for her to learn to suppress them.

I do hope all this makes sense to you. I am just absolutely in love with maan-geet, words gush outa my fingers before i can stop them 😆

If Geet tell about the cheating and pregnancy now the natural qstn from Maan will "Who is that b🤬d , I want to kill him!!!!". Then she will say Dev Khuranna from Canada who has a wife named Naintara!!!! Bhoom!!!!

u hv so well written ur point....although i think geet shud share his pain with maan and i hv written about it many times in other posts...so i will just say that u hv a very logical view of things and i agree with the part that they shud be tog only because of love and not for any other reason....

but, somehow i always feel that if geet loves maan then she shud tell the truth and not let someone out of the blue revealing the truth to him....maan will still know that she left home and wants to bring up the child all alone....she is not someone to beg for help he knows that very well....on the other hand he will get to see that geet is so adamant with her own responsibility over the baby that even maan and his love she can readily sacrifice.....maan will find it is he who will find it difficult to live widout her....and therefore maan will realise that only true love and accptance of her past will make her stay with him.

brilliant post.u make a lot of sense.i never thought that way.it makes sense that geet is not telling him about her past bcoz again he will offer her his help in this situation which he has been doing from the begining.this time his help in the form of marriage since he loves and even if she doesn't tell him dev's name,still i msure he will be ready to help in the form of marriage which will ruin the romance of maaneetians.yes!cvs want geet's character be proved strong to maan later on when maans comes to find out about geet's miserable past,he will realize that geet was much stronger than he thought .how she coped with the betrayal from a fake husband,her stand for her pregnancy against her family will,risking her own life for the child she was carrying,staying away from maan to keep her sorrows to herself and not taking advantage of maan in this vulnerable situation.all these things when recollected will make maan realize that how pure she is and with so much dignity and self respect.she never generalized her negative experiences of a man unlike maan who became a woman hater after his bad experience.

hey even if she tell him he is gonna brush it off as a lie.... i want him 2 know it from someone else.... most probably munshiji....he is his most trusted employee..... n i hope munshiji tells d truth to the extent he knows.... i would like maan 2 know first dat she sent brij 2 jail n insulted her whole family....his face will be like 👏.... then d truth bout her condition...maan is gonna be shocked... but then he would realise wat a gem of a person his geet is..... dat she rejected him so dat he wont get hurt after wards....she tried 2 go away from him not once but thrice....

Well a very enlightening thought....agree to it to a certain extent....for me I think yesterday was an ideal opportunity for Geet to confess.....I also thought that it was high time that she left the Khurana house and stood on her own legs.....I wud have loved & respected her even more......As for their relationship, it doesn't necessarily need to end in marriage of honour after the confession......they cud have build the relationship again.....

what do you think is going to happen when Maan realises Geet's past in hosiarpur? He will marry her.....she will be still dependent on him - is that a good thing?

Maan needs to give her some space....he needs to let go of her so that they can be happy in future......he is shown to be very protective of her but frankly she has to face the real world all alone.....how will she learn if he is always around?

Thats the thing. Thats the reason shes not giving in to maan and probably would not even after confession. probably.
The reason being the 'social stigma' that she has to bear.
She cant go declaring and proving to everyone what really happened and not everyone will believe it.
Maan would accept no doubt, but geet wouldnt want maan or his family, to enetr into this kind of a mess and face public humiliation.thats what the girl thinks.

So yes i hope her past comes out in front of maan, but their getting together will take more time .
