"MEH" thoughts
If yesterday's episode was Refined Romantic Cinematic Art with some illogical loops then today was ILLogical & full of Amateurish Cinematic Gaffs!
1. Maan gets hug from Pari and lets her get away with it presumably becoz he can see Geet ka reaction in the mirror? But, that's not shown...he smirks looking the other way from where Geet is standing...
2. Pari - how OTT can she be made?? 1 min faking faint, next hugging Maan, 3 juss getting up & walking off after promising to meet later🤔 Major lapse in her characterization in this scene... yeah. i know focus is Maaneet not Pari, but gimme a break - nobody faking sick to get sympathy n attention will juss get up n take off like that lest they appear "phony"
3. Slow as a snail Maansaab likes "Phaast" girls 🤪 and Maan can now "overhear" all of Geet's convos with Babaji... becoz u know Geet is silly enuff to self-talk out loud within his audible range😳
4. N u know Geet is stupid enuff to keep yapping on the phone, so Maan can overhear her self convo and smirk😆😆 Seriously... is there a need to make her loook this DUMB!
5. Y in 20 mins? Ny reason for that specificity that we r missing?😕 "Tumhein aanaa hi padheka Geet" would have sufficed... Dialogue writer, deliverer, director, and editor need NAAAAP... as they r napping on the JOB!
6. Randomness of Maan telling the Bouncers that Geet was wit him... were they afta her? How does Maan know their "evil" intentions to "rok" her😡 He read their mind na... Psychic Maan😆😆
7. Rationale for Maan switching drinks with Pari because it increase love to share food & drinks.. But, where is the scene where Pari sips/drinks her drink... so its jhoota?
8. How does he end up dancing with Geet right after Pari all of a sudden... very bad editting🤢 Yeah he grabs Geet's hand, but she was shown looking at him from a far not beside him
Positives:
1. How many times did Maan grab Geet's hands in this epi? Count! Count! Count! Count! Count!
2. De End - Geet asserts her HAQ
3. De Beginning - as in the PreCap - Maan asserts his HAQ
Last Thought on this "Meh" episode: Truth n Honesty is about Perception! Maan ka jhoot of which Geet is aware of is betta and more respectful of her sovereignty then Dev's devious deception. If executed properly, it crystalizes the difference btwn the two bros' characters. Maan's lie is a Truth. Dev's truth is a LIE!
