I don't mind a lip lock as long as they don't do it in real. Not because it is an Indian telly show, but because Gurmeet would never do such a thing. He is so loyal to Debina, so to kiss someone else would be like....I don't even have words to complete my sentence. You get the point right?

I am from Canada, so even I am use to watching kissing scenes and all...but I would personally find it slightly strange to see a lip-lock on Indian TV. I don't mind seeing other kinds of kisses like on the cheek, or neck or whatever, but I think lip-to-lip would be controversial for viewers.
Besides the audience's opinion, I really don't think the actors themselves...meaning Drashti and Gurmeet, would be comfortable to even do a lip-lock scene.

hmmm...well i sorta' agree with this whole television thing...buh again..i dont see the point of why the television cant have this.😕If Bollywood can..then television should not be a BIG WOHOAAAAAAAA...🥱😆. It all depends on how they execute the scene. It doesnt hefta' be all out of the proportion....a liplock can be achieved in a more poise manner as well. They dont have to have the full-fledged "liplock"....buh something along those lines wont harm..either...i guess😕
Well its js my opinion. I do understand the "restrictions" that apply though.😉😃

OMG i was thinking the same thing .... i am from Canada too and i totally agree that it might be common on western shows to have lip locks but on an Indian tv show its very controversial,
plus after the kiss the whole charm and anticipation to the kiss is lost... the kiss is usually the high point and then everything after seems to go down hill...like in other shows when the protaganists unite they then have to be seperated.... and i don't want geet and maan to seperate 😕

I think we'd give the aunties/uncles heart attacks, and the children under 13 some unwanted thoughts ... to start with.

I dont' think Drashti or Gurmeet would agree to it either. Drashti was a fun loving character in DMG, and they had a scene where it was implied that she slept with another character - nothing close to a lip lock was shown. It's starone, I realize, but it's still Indian Telly, they won't show anything of that sort, and I have to say I respect it.

We see enough vulgarity in the name of love in Holly/Bolly all the time - lets try to keep the soaps to a respectable level.

My two cents, I respect that a kiss is a show of affection, but then where does it stop? It's also the commencement of passion, and once you open that pandora's box, where does it stop (not the kissing, but the airing of such sort). I foresee an outburst of sorts if they showed something like that.

BUT, for that matter, I wouldn't even want them to imply it. I'm liking her character, and his. I think we'd sully the image if it went that route, and I'd rather not.

@ Bold: ummmm...its not about "COPYIN" its about practicality. 😕😆
People usually do stuff like that when they are hopelessly in love. Especially when they are subjected to such aggressive impulses. Talkin' bout' "copyin" the west ...i dont think i need to say more on this one...😕considerin' its bollywood/tv we are talkin' bout.

I really don't think the actors themselves would be comfortable doing it and also this is something I don't want to see on TV. It's ok in movies and all, but not in soap operas...

Guys y r we assuming it will be an actual kiss? the precap scene ... there is that water fall thingy so i bet if they show a kiss it will be blurred by the water and all .. it wont actually be a kiss 😆

and 12 and 13 yr old being on this forum ... i bet they are inured to kisses at aleast .. i was at that age thanks to Capt Planet (remember Wheeler and Linka) and Little Mermaid and all those cartoon series 😆

for me it wd be weird if they dont show a kiss scene .... how can u feel so passionately abt someone and not kiss 😕? its not abt aping the west .. its abt common human feelings and all ...
