hello everybody!
well i was just wondering what your views are about this scenario. tomorrow is the 100th episode of geet, and i think maybe maan-geet will kiss (lip-lock) i dont know the chances but does anyone mind? im personally from the united states and watch way too many shows/ movies to care. just wondering how other viewers would react to this kind of scene if shown as it is a hindi show!
please respond will be waiting for replies
-thank you

Well lip-locks are normal in Hollywood and even Bollywood nowadays...but as far as I know, its not a well-accepted trend on Indian Television.

I am from Canada, so even I am use to watching kissing scenes and all...but I would personally find it slightly strange to see a lip-lock on Indian TV. I don't mind seeing other kinds of kisses like on the cheek, or neck or whatever, but I think lip-to-lip would be controversial for viewers.
Besides the audience's opinion, I really don't think the actors themselves...meaning Drashti and Gurmeet, would be comfortable to even do a lip-lock scene.

They needn't actually show the lip-lock. The camera angles can do part of the job and viewers' imagination can do the rest. I thought the make believe 'lip-locks' they pictured before Michi consummation scene in Kayamath were done very well.
