"What happened to Dadima? How is she? Have you called the doctor? Whose taking care of her now?" Geet's questions cascaded one after another, giving no time for Maan to respond to. Seeing her eyes well up in tears and her quivering lips, Maan did not have the heart to continue with the lie.

"Dadima is fine, Geet. I lied to you about her health in order to get you out of hiding and get you here. It's difficult to locate you in this crowded station, otherwise." He said matter-of-factly. Geet couldn't believe that he would stoop to this level to sniff her out. She turned away from him angrily and was all set to leave but Maan sprinted ahead of her and blocked her way. The railway announcer was by now curious about the two love birds and looked first at Geet and then at Maan in turns, wondering what they were up to.

Maan bent his head in line with her ears and hissed, "Now, look here young lady. You either come with me on your own or I will swing you over my shoulders and carry you out of here, kicking and screaming. So if you want to make a spectacle of us, you are free to do so, because nothing is going to stop me from taking you back with me." He then straightened to his full height and turning to the announcer, he smiled at her sweetly, not wanting her to know that he was actually threatening Geet. The announcer thought that he was whispering sweet nothings to Geet and looked away shyly.

Geet looked up at him in shock and just then Maan's eyes came back to rest on her and the warning in them was clear. She knew Maan would carry out his threats without any qualms. Sighing in resignation, she nodded her head to indicate she was ready to go with him. Maan held her elbow and led her away, turning back to thank the announcer on his way out. As he escorted her out, he remembered that he had to inform Adi that he had found Geet. With one hand still on Geet's elbow, he flipped his cell open with the other and called Adi.

Before he could speak, Adi frantically informed him his inability to find Geet. "Sir, I hunted everywhere at the bus stand. She is nowhere in sight."

"Don't worry, Adi. I have found her and am taking her back to the outhouse. You can go home and rest."

He could hear Adi heave a sigh of relief and wishing him good night, he disconnected the call. He then called Mr.Khandelwal, the head of the detective agency and asked him to call off the search.

Geet's eyes widened in surprise. So he had involved Adi and several others in the search? Why was he so keen to get her back, especially after what she had told him? Maan could see her questioning look from the corner of his eyes but ignored it. Once they reached the parking lot, he opened the door next to the driver's seat and pushing her in roughly, he went back to his own side, quickly sliding into his seat and buckling himself in.

As the car veered out of the parking lot and into the main road, Geet turned to him in anger and asked him why did he come after her.

"Why?" he asked back bitingly. "I should be the one asking you why you left me without so much as a note and you have the gall to ask me why I came after you? After all that I have done for you, you drop a bombshell and disappear into thin air. You did not even have the decency to inform me where you were going. Am I worth only that much?"

Geet looked away and blinked back her tears. She knew he was perfectly justified in expressing his anger at the shoddy treatment meted out to him. But then, she was getting away for his own good, was she not? She kept silent for the rest of the journey, wondering where all this was taking them. Maan fixed his eyes on the road, trying hard to navigate through the rains which had considerably reduced the visibility.

Loved the update!
I am happy he found her and I loved his little threat. Especially wen he said that nothing can stop him from taking her back with him. And Adi is cute. lol.
I want to know how Maan reacts with Geet now that he knows that she is pregnant, because he hasn't had much interactions with her after she dropped the bomb on him. He will most probably react differently than the show maan because ff maan has a different past. And I also can't wait till geet tells him the whole truth.
