Being male dominated world, it runs by their rules...but the difference starts right from our physiognomy.. man has outward appendage that helps him procreate while a woman takes it all in...

she is made to take things deeply and yes she is stronger( mentally) more tolerant and more understanding.
Men forget that the one who brought him to the world can easily take charge of him, it is women who have let man rule not because men are stronger or more powerful but women know what reality is...is the saying not sufficient enough that behind every successful man there is a woman and also...there is the story of Trojan Horse and Troy is it not...

so yeah..this fight for ultimate power will be fought as long as time lasts..

For the words in red, guess it has to do with the fact that you mentioned as well as the fact that "woman" is for ages tied in to the sacred/sacred mother/sacred virgin or whatever the concept that all religions keep on espousing. It is bigoted and misogynistic but that is how they keep it in India till date in some tradition bound societies right.

Will there ever be a day when they say that "a woman is chaste in spirit, soul and mind? even if she may not be chaste in her body or mores?" Well! I guess we need to find an alternative universe for that or a copybook/story book man for that!

Things have been so for eons dear. I don't think it will change so soon. Some societies base it on tradition, some societies base it on development. Some people are vocal about it, some people just work on it..... It is difficult to change the entire population of the earth for such thinking is embedded into our very beings.

So as I said for now I will enjoy these scenes whatever little we will get.

Dev and NT can try, but it all boils down to MAAN as you said. Regarding Daadi, will she be in the loop or will they keep her out of the loop initially? Dunno!

The rules of justice are so different for men and women! A "fallen" woman, whereas a "man" is just sowing his oats! So, yeah! though the woman is revered and respected, the minute she does not match up to some so-called scale or bar, they will throw her to the dogs!

This power struggle is not for supremacy but for strength. And I believe strength lies in adversity, so that is why all the adversity/adverse situations are staked against the woman

Also another thing I was wondering will Naintara use this occassion to destroy Maan as well along with Geet to make her dream come true of bringing the Khurana Empire's wealth & money in her name? I mean she will defintiely try to throw Geet out of all their lives & in the meanwhile seeing how Maan will be affected by that she will try to get rid of Maan as well? And in this process maybe Maan's past will also be out. Why do I get a feeling that NT has some role to play as far as Sameera is concerned!! I don't know simply speculating here.

So she has no moral obligations....

Regarding geets new found pssion for maan, Geet has not yet comprehended wat her feelings for maan r.. This is very much new to her n is at the very initial stage.

Technically the checking out Maans torso happens on the second day of geets realization of her underlying undefined n sudden (for her) feelings for maan...She has not yet come out of that initial shock at the discovery of this new found passion... She is acting exactly as maan was on the day after that hot n passionhug...

Once she settles down n gets used to her new found passion for maan along with the discovery of her raging harmones, am sure she'll distance herself n might end up telling her story.

I think after the jhumka phehenana act by Maan geet will smell the coffee that something is really wrong with her. How can she allow some other man to touch her..*mind it ppl i am very happy with all the touchy touchy, feely feely track. here am just putting wat geet might think, plz don get me wrong n bash me*

Personally i want Maan n dadi ti know of her past b4 the big confrontation. I want geet to confide in them..

You are right on that score about moral obligations at this point of time...but still does it make sense to prolong her agony any further? Yesh, a few more of these romantic interludes and MAAN will certainly dovetail her and think she was calculating and manipulative in not clearing the air before when he was not completely under her spell.

This I say because, no matter what happens to him internally or externally, he ALWAYS had initially blamed Geet, be it for his emotions, be it for his pagalpan. So why we would he act any different when the pregnancy track is revealed?

Lana, I was talking about the same thing in another thread.... For NT it will be like Ek teer, do nishane. Even I feel that NT had a part in the Sameera fiasco and maybe thats the reason for their dislike of each other..... Two wounded souls, bound together by fate - it might not be difficult for NT to try destroying them as each is bound to the other..

@blue - Bridge, maybe all these confrontations they have had these past few days, their realization will make him take a different stand?? Somehow I am thinking that Maan will try to put two and two together to come to a conclusion before blaming Geet. Maybe the prolonging of this track is to make Maan get a grip on his feelings for Geet so that he wont go ballistic when the truth comes out. I hope its just not wishful thinking on my part.
